This is the best auto mechanic shop I have ever been to And ever will go to. I have been there twice, and both times I was greeted with the kindest hospitality, finest professionalism, and rapid speed dealing with my vehicle. The amount of detail they put into their work is incredible, and the price is great as well. The person who helped me out the most was Liliana ask for her.

I just need to say I am so happy that Sals Auto Body was recommended to me and my family from Competition BMW of Smithtown. They have been nothing short of outstanding. From the gentleman who gives estimates, the amazing workers fixing your car to better than new to all the women in the front office are a pleasure to deal with. Liliana is amazing. She takes care of every little detail and is always going above and beyond. She was calling the insurance company everyday to get answers for me. Every employee at this facility is fantastic. There are some businesses that just beg the suspicion that no matter what you are told, you will most certainly feel ripped off and cheated. Unfortunately auto body repair shops are at the top of that list. However, there is a gem of an auto body shop tucked away in St. James, New York that defines professionalism, ultra quality work, pleasant, reasonable and tireless customer service and as if that isn't enough, each and every member of the public facing staff makes you feel like family. This outstanding business located at 644 Middle Country Rd, suite 7, St. James, New York is Sal's Auto Body shop. A short time ago my C300 was hit from behind and while at the time I was clueless as to where to take it, on a recommendation from Mercedes of Smithtown I brought the car to Sal's. From the moment I made the first call to the very last minute I picked up the car the experience was nothing short of outstanding. Fixing the car in the most perfect way, using only OEM parts, when I got the car back it was in better condition than when I bought it. The paint was perfectly matched and to tell the truth it came back to me like it just rolled off the production line. However, that's not the best part. Since I was hit while standing still, the burden of repair fell on the insurance company of the individual who hit me. Needless to say they gave me a difficult time and were not the most pleasant to deal with. At every turn whenever I was presented with a challenge, the staff at Sal's completely handled it and made things so much easier than I had ever expected. So just to be clear, the car was fixed perfectly, better than I ever expected and every challenge was handled with the type of aplomb that comes exclusively from years of successful,service. A special appreciation to Sabrina, Julio, Ashley and Liliana. They turned what started as a horrible experience into a pleasure. If I could award more that 5 stars I certainly would. This is the only body shop I will ever use, I will recommend them to all my friends and family and I am happily rating them 5 stars plus.
