This place deserves not even one star- Very frustrating experience at Sahin Auto Care in Commack. I paid over $2200 for repairs that were supposed to fix issues with my car, but the same problems came back shortly after. For that amount of money, I expected the issue to be properly diagnosed and resolved the first time. Instead, I was left dealing with the same problem and additional inconvenience. When I brought it back, I did not feel that my concerns were handled in a satisfactory or solution-focused way. This experience left me with very little confidence in the quality of the work. I strongly recommend getting a second opinion before agreeing to any major repairs here, and making sure you clearly understand what is being fixed and what guarantees are provided.

Do not use this repair facility, went for an inspection and was “failed” (wiper blades, tires, “rear breaks were just barely low”) owner then “charged me” for inspection and didn’t provide a failed inspections report or receipt. When I asked for a failed inspection report, he got annoyed and he actually did the inspection hooked up to the machine. If I had walked away without the paperwork they would have pocketed the money. In addition, they wrote my car has tints, and my plates are peeling/damaged where there isn’t a scratch or any peeling. They will fail you in an attempt to have work done on your car. Previous reviews state similar experiences.

If you're female don't go here. They will rip you off! This is the 2nd time I've gone here and it is the last. I brought my car in for an inspection a few months ago and they charged me $150 because my car needed new wiper blades! I argued with them and they brought it down to $100 (still too much). I decided to give them another chance. I brought my older car in today for an oil change and they charged me $100! I've never paid more than $40. I told them the cost was wrong and the guy said I had a special oil filter that's why it cost so much. What a load of crap! A Fram Oil Filter for my is in stock at Walmart for $10. I guess it's not that special after all. We negotiated and he brought it down to $80. Don't go here they are not an honest business!

I have been here a couple times for oil changes and inspections, brakes, and light mechanical. Great group of guys, also seem to give a fair price, which is great and allow me to bring My own oil and oil filters from time to time. Five star experience

Would not recommend. Highly unorganized. Was advised by Oscar the Manager that they do not always keep records of service and it depends on “if the guy felt like putting it in the system”. Had a bad experience here. Got to look at the system and they only keep records for this calendar year. Not professional at all. Take your business to a real mechanic.
