AVOID THIS SERVICE DEPARTMENT. Extremely disappointing experience at Smithtown Lexus. I brought my car in for a specific issue and even provided video and photo evidence with timestamps showing the progression of the problem. Despite this, Robert insisted the issue was caused by the brakes. I made it clear it wasn’t — but was promised that new brakes would solve everything. Fast forward to pickup: same issue, plus an new fluid leak that wasn’t there before. When I raised the concern, the service department refused to acknowledge any mistake and even claimed my car wasn’t leaking — despite clear evidence to the contrary. You could smell the gear oil when standing near the car. When I asked how they planned to correct their error, service manager Dan actually laughed out loud on the phone. That pretty much says it all. After getting nowhere with Smithtown Lexus, I contacted Lexus Corporate. Within 24 hours, the problem was resolved. It’s sad that it took corporate intervention to fix something so basic. This dealership preys on customers who don’t know better — dismissive, defensive, and unwilling to take accountability. I was fortunate to know enough to push back, but others may not be. Save yourself the headache and go to Stoler Lexus instead — it’s absolutely worth the drive.

Had a very good experience getting my car detailed and fixing some minor cosmetic issues. Looks great now.

I have always had a wonderful experience with Lexus Smithtown Service Dept. Robert Romano is always a pleasure to work with. He gets my car in quickly, keeps me updated and answers all my questions. He is kind, knowledgeable and overall a pleasure to work with. Everyone at the service dept is terrific!I highly recommend them.

Horrible experience and service. Dropped off the car for service on June 21st and never got a call back from dealer that my car was ready for days until I called them. They claim someone called me but my phone records don't indicate anything. The sunroof was open and when pulling the shade there was a nice surprise of water flowing into my vehicle. Dan the service manager was to call me and til this date, have never heard back.

Their price is much higher than other dealers. In order to reject customer returns, they will list standard parts as special order on purpose without telling you, which is beyond anyone's imagination. Their eyes are staring on every penny in your pocket. Horrible experience.
