Gwynn's Automotive

We brought our 2009 Chrysler Voyager for an inspection. We had already done a new frame for the van there. He considered we needed a new oil pan. We couldn’t figure the source so we took to Mike. We asked for a full inspection and he changed the oil pan. And removed the leak. We had asked for a full inspection on the vehicle. On pick up he took 1100 cash from us and advised us that that battery was sluggish. He advised us to drive 150 miles on the highway To reset the sensors and we could pass inspection . On the drive home ) less than 2 miles ) the wheels were smoking and brakes and tires locked on one side and there was fire. We called early the next day and complained that we expected a check of all our systems which we had asked and yet, he said. I didn’t agree to more than the oil pan. And the battery was no good as it kept that clicking sound. He will not take the van back. He ripped us off for cash. And advised us to drive 150 miles at highest speed in a van with one bad side break and wheels that locked. I have a podcast locally and will be doing a detailed summary of best and worst garage experiences. Right acting garages and rip offs. I know where this story goes. We will pursue in claims court at this point.

Gwynn's is my place for everyday car repairs (thanks Jimmy) and I also us them for speed needs on my older car. I feel very confident with their services.

Gwynns Automotive has serviced both my Hot Rod and my Work Truck. The work is always done correctly and with care and expertise. More than that though to me is the fact that Mike Gwynn is a good guy who means well and that's what really keeps me going back. I wish I could give them 10 stars. Gwynn's automotive is hands down the best auto repair shop in Syracuse. They're efficient, professional, and most importantly, trustworthy. Best of all, you absolutely cannot beat their prices. They have the best rates on parts and labor, and I would be amazed if you find a shop that would give you a better quote on your repair. I will never go to another repair shop, it's Gwynn's or it's nothing!!!

I had some autobody work done and my car came out looking great! They do both mechanics and Autobody work. Ask for Mike he will cook you a steak while they work on your car! My new go to shop.
