Oswego County Motor Vehicle

Took longer than it should have. I was there an hour and a half waiting in line. The employees are horrible, very slow (fine, fair enough) VERY, VERY rude! I can't believe they get away with being that hostile. All the form spots were empty at 10am aside from Spanish. I will never go to the Oswego DMV again. Whoever is responsible for that office needs to have a chat with the employees on how to treat people. The hostility and attitudes were completely uncalled for as well as very unprofessional. For example, an elderly gentleman was a little confused on what he needed and the employee just flew off the handle instead of showing a little bit of compassion. My wife works with the elderly and I had to literally hold her back from walking over and getting involved. She was very upset as were several others in line. If you're that unhappy, find work somewhere else.

Terrific experience. Came late on a Friday to exchange a foreign licence. Was seen immediately, everyone extremely helpful along the way, and the whole process took less than an hour. Great folks!

Wife submitted for a new title mid July. It's now the beginning of September. It should not take 2 months to get a titled issued! Utterly ridiculous. When calling about they took no responsibility giving a canned response saying "it's still in process". No duh, it's still in process. But why? Typical NY state incompetence.

I have always had a great experience at the Oswego DMV. But today I went there and the woman behind the counter was very rude and condescending. I don't know why people keep jobs they don't like doing. This woman should not be dealing with the public.
