Walmart Auto Care Center

Worst service each time I deal with them. Nothing but problems and excuses every time. Most recently just canceled my apt 30 mins before, workers had no clue why then get rude on the phone. Even when I the apt isn’t canceled they are so incompetent there it usually takes 30-60 mins longer than it should because the employees are incompetent and lazy.

While the amount of issues that transpired over one appointment is almost comical at this point, unfortunately at the end of the day it was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at any business. After getting a flat, the tire I needed was not at the local facility in the brand required. After ordering from a PA facility, the tire was then sent to California (??) to make its way back to NY. I had to reschedule my appointment as originally the tire was supposed to be there the next day. The tire was delayed several times on the way from CA, which meant I had to reschedule my appointment multiple times as well to try and accommodate the tire being at the Auto Center at the same time. Received a notification that the tire had been received at the facility… and then Walmart cancelled my appointment. No biggie, trying to laugh this off at this point and make the appointment for the next day. I get there with my fiancé, and we are immediately told that the tire was not received… I had the proof from FedEx that it was, along with a name that received it in. The associate behind the counter wouldn’t even look at us in the eyes the entire time. Wouldn’t look at my tracking or my confirmation and just kept telling us (he had gone to the back a few times and was gone between 5-10 minutes) that they didn’t have it. We were then told that we “needed to call” to make sure the tire was there going forward… Which I understand where he was coming from, but I had confirmation that he wouldn’t even look at and shrugged it off. Lastly, the associate said he would cancel our appointment so hopefully we could call the 1-800 number and get a refund for the tire. Woke up at 6AM today to see that apparently the next person had cancelled it this morning and he did not when he said he would yesterday (Appointment was at 11AM). We were waiting for that confirmation before we could call to get the refund, so we lost an entire day waiting. Will not be going back, there have always been a slew of issues at this Auto Center and I have given them a million chances.

I will not recommend this walmart. I have gone here in the past and I’ve done a great job with my tires, but this past trip that I went to get a simple patch for a nail in my tire turned into something bizarre. I went there and made an appointment for my tires and told the mechanic that I have a nail in my front passenger tire and it just needs to be patched. The mechanic took my information and went outside and checked. My tire, came back and basically said that all of my tires were horrible, which is not the case because I just got new tires anyway he didn’t see a A nail in my front tire, but he did see a nail in my back tire, which I thought was bizarre because also my indicator in my car said that I was losing pressure in my front tire. So he took my information and I was in the store for 2 1/2 hours and finally I went back to the service desk and asked about my car. He gave me my keys and said everything was good to go. They didn’t have to do anything and that the nail didn’t break through the tire. I didn’t have to pay for my service so I drove my car all the way home and was thinking about how bizarre the instance was because I saw with my own two eyes, a nail and my front passenger tire so when I got to my house, I looked, and there it was the nail was in my tire still. I am telling you that all they did was put air in my tire so that the psi would match the other tires .they lost money and service. All of the mechanics were also in the bays playing around when I returned that’s a sidenote.

Don’t even deserve one star. I went there at 3:14 just needed to buy a tire and have it put it on my rim. One old guy as me if I had a three o clock appointment told him no I just needed a tire and put on my rim and before I can even finish he told me no in the rudest way and said they had no time. They close at 4pm. I go inside the place and another older man that looked like the supervisor he ask me what he can do for me and I tried to repeat my self before I can even finish he cut me off stating nope they close at 4pm they have no time and they have 2 appointments. Mind you there is 5 mechanics standing around and one suv that they pulled into the bay and no other vehicle to he done. It literally takes 15 minutes to do I was on the phone with my fiance when the conversation went down. Told them rudely I will take my service some place else. I also called the store manger and let him know as well. Maybe they should put on the website no walks appointment only

Sad to say but I’ve been doing business at the TLE here for years. Lately, it’s as if the people behind the counter could care less if you’re even alive. They claim you need an appointment now because of work being done. I’ve been trying to get an oil change there for 2 months now. All you see is a group of people standing around not doing anything and they don’t even acknowledge your existence. There were 2 people waiting in line for a ridiculous amount of time, myself included. I worked in that same shop a long time ago for a short period of time. Place has gone to pot. 0 stars from me. You have brought shame to your industry. Couldn’t be more disappointed. Never again. You had your chance.
