Duke of Oil

This place is great! Friendly service. Most importantly, they are honest and don't try to hike up the price by adding more work you don't need. I drive 10 mi away from my house to use this place because they're that trustworthy.

It's been a very long time since I reviewed Lenny and the Duke of Oil. My visit with my wife's car yesterday was in many ways unremarkable but it's the fact that it is so routine that makes it special. My wife's car has had tire inflation issues but who hasn't during the last month of frigid temperatures. I was sitting and waiting and overheard Lenny sending an older woman away without charge after he and one of his guys tested her frozen trunk and windshield washer line. Despite her repeated protests, he sent her away. I was next. The problem was something called a filling pin in the tire stem that cracked. No charge. Couldn't convince him. So is Lenny going to refuse payment for a transmission or some other big job. Of course not. But what Lenny is, is honest. And fair. And smart and really good at what he does. So if your car needs work, big or small, come see Lenny at Duke of Oil.

They went out of their way to help solve a tricky problem and didn’t think twice to let me leave my car there a few days until I could come got it Nice folks!

Came here as soon as they opened to get an unexpected flat I had this morning fixed. I was with my 3 year old and were on our way to preschool which was about 25mins away. I asked the man at the front if he can do me a huge favor and fix the flat I had as priority since I had my daughter and she had to be at school. He said it was about an hour and a half wait. I offered to pay him extra but he said he only had 1 tech. Unfortunately, I’ve had nails in my tires before so I know it does not take long to plug it. I’ve done it myself before, but I had my little girl and it was pouring out. This man wouldn’t budge. Seems like he was the owner. All I can say is do better and you def could’ve helped me out. Wasn’t even busy. Horrible! I went less than a mile up the road to another service station who had also just opened and also had 1 tech working on a car. I asked the owner at the desk who had just come in the same as I did at the man at Duke and this amazing human being ,( the OWNER), said don’t worry I’ll take care of it for u. No excuses and didn’t hesitate because he saw I had my little girl with me. Also wanted to add there were 2 other people waiting ahead of me who had no problem with me going ahead since they saw the urgency. He fixed it quickly and sent me on my way. Goes to show what a difference an owner and business can make to their customers. This service station will be getting lots of jobs from my car and my wife’s car. Duke just lost an excellent customer and demonstrated the lack of empathy. I wasn’t asking for an oil change man.

Lenny and the boys have been awesome for me and my family for years. Always great service and with a smile too! Snuck me in for an oil change at the end of the day. Moved away and still bring our vehicles to him.
