I had a great experience with Transmission Exchange. They did an excellent job on my car and I am very happy with the service I received. They were able to get me in quickly, diagnosed the issue, and completed the work in a timely manner. Highly recommend transmission exchange !

As a woman, I felt completely taken advantage of at this shop. The guy at the front desk, Chuck, is a fast, smooth talker—but anyone paying attention can read him like a book. I came in for a simple transmission diagnostic and somehow left with a laundry list of supposed issues, including front-end and rear-end work that had absolutely nothing to do with why I was there. One thing I should have noticed immediately is how they can “always fit you in.” There’s a reason for that. Any reputable transmission shop is usually booked out weeks in advance. This place seems to thrive on desperate people who need answers fast and may not know any better. It honestly felt like they were pushing unnecessary repairs or outright making things up. I didn’t trust a word of it, so I went to another shop without mentioning anything Chuck had said. They inspected the car and told me it was clean as a whistle. When I explained what this shop claimed was wrong, they laughed and said it looked like someone had sprayed diff fluid on my axle to make it appear there was a leak/problem. Absolutely mind-blowing experience. Be very careful here and get a second opinion before agreeing to anything. I would not trust this guy at all.

Transmission exchange did a very nice and thorough job finding out what was wrong with my vehicle. They didn’t just hook it up to a computer and said this is wrong they took the time to come up with a real diagnostic for my vehicle. Everybody I spoke to there was very friendly.

I brought my diesel truck here for a transmission rebuild. Initially, it was cheaper than many other transmission repair shops, but I soon discovered why. Shortly after the rebuild, I began experiencing issues. Within the first few months, I brought the truck back twice. Eleven months later, the transmission failed completely. I had them rebuild it again (unwilling to acknowledge the warranty) and shortly after that, I began encountering very similar problems with the transmission as I did after the first rebuild. After spending over $10,000 between two rebuilds in less than one year and still having issues, I strongly advise anyone against taking their vehicles to this shop for diesel transmission repairs. The customer service, quality of repairs, and quality of parts at this shop are subpar.

Chuck got me right in when I needed some diagnostics done on my vehicle. Walked me through and explained everything he looked at. Great place, would recommend.
