knowledgeable technicians, I had my own oil and filter. fulfilled my request by using what I had on hand already, and a friend never got around to changing for me. cost about 45$ which I consider almost fair, but tried upselling me on a cabin filter (mine had been replaced in the last 3 months, was still white color) and engine air filter (could use replacement somewhat soon due to dirt road driving). specifically requested tire top off and they forgot to do it, I turned around after realizing down the street and upon coming back they messed up the tire PSI more than it originally was. only one tire was low and now none of them match.

The guys here were very nice. They worked together on making sure everything was done right, which I liked that. I also liked that you didn't have to get out of your vehicle and was able to watch them work on your vehicle. Had a very pleasant experience for being my first time there. Our take 5 is fairly new here. So I decided to start taking all my cars there. They did really good the first few times. Then, the time before my last, one of the techs removes my radiator cap and smells it. He says, you need a flush and new fluid. I said how can you tell. He said he could tell by the smell. What he didn’t know is that 5 days before, I had my water pump replaced and all new fluid put in. I purchased all the parts as well as the antifreeze and helped a friend replace it. I told him I just had a new water pump put in. He says, they must if put the old antifreeze back in. I said it’s fine, leave it alone. Then a different tech brings me the plug for the rear end differential, and shows me that there was a small amount of metal shavings stuck to it. He tells me if I don’t have my fluid change, my rear end could blow up. I said, that plug is a magnet and designed to catch shavings and that’s normal and was not a lot of shavings. He said, that even that little bit of shavings is not good an could be a problem. I again told him, just leave it be. So, even after this I bring my other car there about a month later. I tell the tech about my last experience and I don’t want them to do anything but an oil change because I’ve lost my confidence in them and they need to rebuild that confidence back. I must of offended him, because he was very rude and did not even do the normal “start and run your engine for 5 seconds “ routine and let another tech come over and showed me my oil dipstick and cashed me out. Instead of an apology and we are sorry for your last experience, he chose to be rude and not do his job correctly. I was going to ask to talk to the manager, but decided I would just go back to my old oil change place. So, If you go there, beware of what they tell you that you need. Go to a trusted mechanic and don’t be taken advantage of.

This is my shop
