Repossessed the vehicle from family member who wasn't making payments. Noticed when retrieving the vehicle that the windshield was cracked all the way across the bottom by the wipers. Got in touch with insurance to make a claim but realized that because it was cracked before I had possession that I would have to pay out of pocket. The price was reasonable and the appointment was fairly quick. Definitely a good company and great tech handled the repair.

None of the trim is straight and half of them were not even fully installed. I had water on the inside of my windshield 4 days after install. You can see the rubber on the trim work on the inside of the vehicle. The windshield has 4 dark spots near the top from shipping that won't wash off. There is a huge gap where debris and snow and water can get in near the base of the windshield. Zero pride in their work. I do not even want to take it to them to have them fix it because they will just do another half job again.

What started as a little chip caused by road debris very quickly spread along the length of my windshield. I called my insurance company and requested safelight. They were able to get me in within a cpl days which I expected to have to wait at least a week. The technician was extremely helpful and had me fixed and ready to go within an hour. Highly recommend this location!

This is the third windshield I have had to have replaced on this same vehicle and I have gone through the Hornell location each time. They have always had exemplary customer service and our technician, Benjamin, was very courteous, friendly while explaining details regarding steps to do with the new windshield. I would definitely recommend the Hornell Safelite location to anyone looking for window replacement as everyone there was extremely polite and friendly. Scheduling was easy, quick and flexible for people who work during the week.

Safelite has always been very professional and excellent at what they do. Even when I had a problem coming up with the money to pay for this all at once, they came up with a great plan for me to use Afterpay on Cash app and I was able to afford to replace my windshield. The technicians are always so kind they call me right before they get there. They tell me how long it’s gonna be and everything is so clean and perfect thank you Safelite for a great job as always!
