West Herr Collision Center Williamsville

My experience with the West Herr collision center was a great experience. After a parking lot mishap the repairs and the replacement of parts were accomplished way ahead of the estimated three weeks. The staff were friendly, courteous and professional and listened to all of your concerns. I won’t hesitate to take my vehicle again if needed.

I had a very disappointing experience with Tina at West Herr Auto Collision Center. She made me wait a long time before even assisting me. After finally taking multiple pictures of my car — including my license plate — she told me she would email me an estimate. However, she never followed up as promised. When I called her the next day to ask about the estimate, she suddenly told me that their company does not work on high-mileage cars. This was confusing, so I contacted the corporate office directly. The corporate representative informed me that mileage should not matter for body work since they are not repairing the engine or mechanical components — only the body damage. The conflicting information was very concerning and unprofessional. I feel I was given an excuse instead of honest service. Overall, the lack of communication, long wait time, and inconsistent explanation left me frustrated and disappointed. I would not recommend this location based on my experience.

West Herr is a disaster of coordination and accountability. It took eight months and multiple managerial escalations just to get them to reopen an insurance claim that the insurer immediately approved, and then literally asked why West Herr had ever said it wasn’t covered. Their service center and body shop are the root of the issue, and even their sales department seems to know it. Every department blames the others while the customer sits in limbo. When I finally pushed hard enough, a board member talked down to me about how aluminum works, like I hadn’t done my research. Arrogant, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. This isn’t a dealership that stands behind its customers or even communicates internally. It’s a tangle of mismanagement where no one takes responsibility until you corner them. If you want service that values your time, your intelligence, and your car, avoid West Herr entirely. For what it’s worth, rav4 hinges are defective to an extent but they’ll get out of having to fix it if they can. So much so that they don’t try to sell Toyota’s warranty which includes this costly repair and instead sells a third part warranty that they designed to explicitly exclude hinges calling them disposable parts. Seriously you can’t make this up.

I would highly recommend West Herr Collision in Williamsville. A deer hit my car, and they finished the repairs ahead of schedule, which, of course, depends on the damage, not the shop itself. They were very communicative throughout the process, and it was incredibly convenient to drop off my rental there, pick up my car, and have them return the rental for me. Great experience overall! Highly recommend!!

Repairs exceeded my expectations. Attention to detail was exceptional. Staff were professional always. My car looked like it just rolled out of the factory. Would highly recommend West Herr collision to friends and family.
