I purchased a 2018 manual shift Forester from Zac who gave me a 30 day warranty. Prior to the sale the dealership had installed new brakes and rotors, new tires, and a new clutch, pressure plate, and throw out bearing. Before purchase I noticed an oil leak which I only mentioned to Zac and before delivery of the car, Zac had that fixed as well. During the warranty period a clicking noise was heard in the left front of the car. Zac had this noise fixed also, it was a wheel bearing and transaxle. This dealer has done everything that I could have asked for to make this buying experience an above average, enjoyable experience . PS. I love my new car.

I went to check out Steele’s Wheels in Bloomfield after hearing about their Subaru selection from several friends. I met Zac there, who patiently showed me all of the options he had on the lot and let my casually take my time to look them over. It was a completely no pressure situation. I live 15 minutes from his lot and he had no problem letting me take time to go home and think about the inventory he had showed me. By the next day I felt comfortable buying, and Zac immediately started getting my car ready for me. He gave me a great value for my trade-in and I had my “new” car within three days. He worked with me over the next week while I wrapped up some paper work and was incredibly patient with me and willing to work around my schedule. I’ll definitely recommend Zac to other friends, and go back to him in the future. Thanks Zac!

Positives: 1) A nice selection of used late model vehicles priced competitively. 2) You will drive away with a vehicle that passes a NYS inspection. 3) Zac will return phone calls and answer questions in a timely manner. 4) If you are not satisfied Zac will make effort(s) to correct situation - offered to purchase vehicle back. Negatives: 1) Slow turnaround time (up to / over several weeks between purchase and taking delivery)for relatively simple needs (tires, brakes, exhaust) 2) vehicle will be AS IS - if it was filthy when you test drove it it will be filthy when you take delivery. 3) Vehicle may have issues not immediately apparent - check EVERYTHING before purchasing here - buyer beware!. I purchased a 4 wheel drive and the 4 wheel drive (low) does not function - it is an expensive repair. Also things like power windows (rear hatch window of mine did not work - turns out it was propped up with multiple pieces of scrap wood jammed in to prop it up inside rear hatch ?!) Conclusion: If you know what you are looking for and are mechanically inclined you may find what you need here. Check everything - coolant, oil, frame rust etc. Take to a mechanic before purchase. Good prices and nice selection of late model Toyota, Subaru, Ford etc...

Exceptional. I needed to sell my vehicle in short order. I called Zach and in less than an hour had a check in hand for a few dollars more than I thought I could get. He was straight forward and honest. Doesn't get any better than that.

He sold me a lemon. I put more money into the car just 6 months after buying it than I had originally paid for the car. Beware, he told me he had just had the car checked out by a well trusted mechanic who was his friend, well obviously they just made it look nicer and covered up the real issues.
