We had the best experience purchasing a used car from Hagen Automotive. We had been looking for a car for one of our kids for some time but used cars had greatly increased in price in recent years and any cars in our price range had a lot of miles on them. With high mileage cars, we worried about the car being safe and sound to drive and the additional cost of repairing any likely issues. Most people we know were buying used cars from private sellers because they were less expensive than buying from a dealer, but we aren’t car people, so this wasn’t a great option because we didn’t know how to assess the condition of the car. We started looking at used car dealers in the area but quickly learned that just because a dealer was selling the vehicle, that didn't actually mean it was checked out mechanically or that any problems were fixed. Enter Hagen Automotive and Vance Hagen. Hagen Automotive went through the car we purchased with a giant checklist and fine-tooth comb and fixed any and every issue they found (both mechanical/safety and cosmetic). We felt much more confident that we were getting a sound car and that it would be safe for our kid and last a reasonably long time. Vance was so conscientious every step of the way and delivered a beautifully running, spotless car. It was a really great experience and Vance put our minds at ease throughout the entire process.

I bought a 2019 Subaru Impreza for my daughter from Vance at Hagen Automotive, and it was hands down the best car-buying experience I've had. When I started my search, I reached out to more than 20 dealerships within a 75-mile radius. Most sent canned replies or some version of "just stop on down, and we'll show you what we've got." Vance was the exception. He took the time to answer all of my initial questions thoroughly and thoughtfully, and after that, I never looked back. They may be a small shop, but that's the advantage. From the very first conversation, you get the sense you're being treated honestly and transparently, with none of the usual runaround. Vance walked me through every step, and the car was ready and right when we picked it up. Buying a car for your kid can be stressful, and Vance made it genuinely easy. Today while an hour away from home my tire started leaking air. I was lucky enough to be down the road from Hagen’s. I pulled it and could hear the tire hissing from the valve. Hagens was busy but immediately got me in. They were so nice and helpful. They knew I was not from the area and needed help getting home. Within 20 min of pulling in their parking lot, I was on my way home with a new tire valve. Not only was it affordable. But it made me realize the previous place I went to for a different valve completely overcharged me. Like 6 times what Hagens charged. So to say they’re honest, is an understatement. I will recommend them to anyone who lives in the area!

Mistakenly I gave the wrong information on the phone regarding My Husband’s vehicle, which tied up a lot of Valuable time for Their Work Day. No questions asked, they took care of what Needed to be done on Our vehicle in a timely manner and ensured our Safety on the roads during this current Snowstorm. Lost a bunch of lug nuts on 5&20 and tire almost flew off. They fixed it in a few hours, gave us a ride to lunch and back while we waited for the repair and then had us on our way to vacation !
