I brought my car to Monroe at intersection of Erie blvd and E.Genesee st to get an engine top seal and plugs changed,after services the car developed additional complications from the garage. I brought it back,I was told they have ordered new parts and they have repaired the mess. When I left the garage,the problem was the same OBD showed misfire. I took it to another mechanic, I noticed no new plugs were installed and the coils were damaged and tied with plastic straps. That was worse I didn't expect, I have pictures.

Was able to make a same day appointment. They took me in right on time. They checked my concern and couldn’t find anything wrong. They took the time to explain to me about possible causes for my car issue. They didn’t charge me for anything and told me to come back if I continued to have an issue. I was completely impressed and satisfied with the service and their kindness. I will definitely be back with any further issues. Thank you!

We have used this location for more than twenty years and have found it to be a pleasant and professional setting. Now under new management, that feeling continues. On this visit, we wished to swap our winter tires for our original summer ones. In 2025 the new manager explained how our summer tires would not pass inspection come the Spring. Upon arrival he reminded us of this conversation and explained the need for four new tires. He provided me with options as to what brand of tire I should purchase. His knowledge of his inventory and his confidence in a similar brand made by the same company would be the best option for us. Since we are both retired and given the current economy, this insight was very valuable. Not only will we continue to use and support his business, but we have urged our friends to give them a try as well.

Extremely poor customer service. When I called to find the status of my car service, the person was not answering in a professional way. The needed part was identified on Saturday at about 3 pm and I called on the following Monday at 9:09 AM and 10:45 AM, the person was not able to tell about the availability of the part. The answer was evasive by saying when I have the information I will let you know. I think, the person did not call the parts supplier at all. When I told him that I have been waiting to hear from them since Saturday, he said he had other customers to take care. I reminded him that I am also a customer. He hung up the phone. I called again and another equally rude person picked up and accused me that I was screaming at his colleague during the previous call. After that call, I received call about one and a half hours later and the person quoted a ridiculously high amount which included unnecessary tires change and said the service will be completed next day. I realized how bad their service is. I declined their quote and I took the car back. Got my car serviced at another service place. Monro person was trying to sell new tires by scaring me by saying the tires may loose outermost layers when I am on the road. The other shop person did not find any problem with the tires. I do not think this Monro service place is reliable. It appears to be managed by unprofessional people.

Have been going to this Monro location for many years and have always been pleased with the service we've received. Most recently, I had taken our vehicle in for a NYS inspection and they were friendly, expedient, and thorough (they didn't come out with a long list of things they'd "advise" or make me feel pressured whatsoever). It was a very positive experience.
