$215 for an oil charge and new wipers on a 2018 Subaru. Astonishing they get any business at all with these prices and service. Will not be returning. They Tried to sell a tire rotation for “safety” on tires installed less than 30 days ago. If you need something basic in the area go to the Monroe across the street- better priced and more honest. $215!!! More expensive than the oil change on luxury car at the dealership

I've been using Firestone for oil changes in my fleet car for the past 2 years and all the shops I've used up until today have been phenomenal. Today the employee literally had no idea what to do to check me in. I found it odd he didn't ask for help from the 2 other employees doing nothing and that those 2 employees didn't offer help. It was extremely awkward. The employee I was talking to was very condescending so eventually I just said I'll get my oil changed at a different Firestone. That was a truly bizarre interaction...

I am writing to formally complain about the extremely unprofessional behavior my husband and I experienced from your staff regarding a recent NYS inspection recheck at Firestone. Yesterday, my husband brought our vehicle in for inspection, and it failed due to windshield wipers. The issue was immediately corrected, and your staff scheduled a reinspection appointment for today at 2:00 PM. This morning, I called simply to ask whether there was any possibility of being seen sooner, as 2:00 PM was difficult due to needing access to my vehicle during the day. During this call, the employee I spoke with stated that he was “doing us a favor” by taking the vehicle back for reinspection. To be clear, completing a reinspection after a failed inspection is not a “favor.” We already paid for the inspection, corrected the issue promptly, and scheduled the follow-up appropriately. I found that comment inappropriate and unprofessional. After I ended the call by stating we would keep the 2:00 PM appointment, the employee (Brad) then contacted my husband directly and canceled the appointment altogether. When I called back for clarification, the employee hung up on me. This entire interaction was unacceptable. Canceling a customer’s appointment out of apparent frustration, hanging up on a customer, and speaking as though required service obligations are personal favors reflects very poorly on your business and raises serious concerns about professionalism and customer treatment I would appreciate a prompt response regarding how this situation will be addressed, as well as confirmation that our vehicle will be properly reinspected without further issue.

Update ... i didn't give 5 stars , i only gave 3 and now 2 since your automated response was obviously automated and my initial review wasn't even acknowledged!!! I do like the company , just not this part of it . ---ORIGINAL REVIEW--- I like this location in Dewitt . The techs are knowledgeable, up front , and hard working individuals . I just wasn't expecting wiper blades to be so expensive and then sending a coupon for said blades to my email AFTER all services were rendered and paid for is kind of a slap in the face... they could've given the discount prior to finalizing the bill .

I've been coming here for a while, and the service has always been great. But today was really exceptional. Kevin took care of me today, and his customer service is truly above and beyond. I needed new tires and new control arms because my bushings were in really bad shape. Kevin walked me through all the tire options and showed me each one. He found me more affordable, comparable tires to the ones I was originally looking at. Kevin explained how they would still give me everything I was wanting in the new tires. This went so far with me because it made me feel like he wasn't trying to upcharge me but was genuinely concerned for what I needed. I'm still pretty new to the area, and I don't have my car-savvy brother around to help me with this stuff now. Kevin's patience and consideration for my budget and needs made me feel very cared for and like I wasn't going to get taken advantage of. For me, that is the best way to keep customers coming back. For the control arms, they quoted me on the work for this a while ago, but I was dragging my feet while looking into other options. Alec let me know that the price had gone up since we last spoke, but he would honor the original quote for me. Again, this was just a huge gesture for me. Thank you guys for looking out for me and keeping my car safe for the road! I really appreciate you!
