Great Lakes Honda City Service Center

After 6 months engine light came on. They had the car for over a month, on the drive home from the dealership. Engine light came back on, called dealership left about 10 messages, no call back. They dont care after the sale. STAY AWAY FROM GREAT LAKES HONDA LIVERPOOL, NY, looking into lemon law as I see many others are doing as well.

Wish I could give zero stars. My wife and I bought a used jeep grand cherokee in september that needed a sensor harness in the bumper replaced. They said they made an appointment with a jeep dealer to have that done and that they would come pick it up and drop off a loaner car. Weeks go by and we hear nothing. An engine light for an evap leak comes on, I finally call to see what's going on and it turns out the appointment was never made. So they come pick it up and give us a loaner to at least fix the engine light. More weeks go by and we hear nothing. I finally get ahold of someone and they say a few more days. We get the car back. Not fixed. We drop it off again for them to look at. They get back to us and say they need to bring it to the jeep dealer again, but there isnt an appointment until first week of December. Here we are on Dec 15th. No communication about how things are going, we try to call we get put through to 4 different people and then get hung up on. Still no idea what's going on or when we'll have our car. Do not do business with these people. They have no idea what customer service is. I'm a very patient person. All we need is a weekly or bi weekly update on things just to be sure we aren't forgotten about. But here we are, forgotten about and hung up on. At this point we just want our money back and to go somewhere else.

I’ve had three minor issues since I bought my car in October. On all three instances, I was taken in right away. My issue was fixed right away and I was out the door right away. These guys are fantastic.

Sold me a used Volkswagen Atlas with a bad windshield, water is leaking and the simple fix is to replaced the windshield. They had my car for two weeks almost 3 I’m left without a car they don’t call me I have to call them for updates and worse part is the car still parked at the same spot I sparked they haven’t moved they haven’t take a look at it. Do not buy from them

This review is for the service center. We dropped off our car for a recall remedy, as well as a minor interior parts fix, and it was completed before the end of the day. We also had a loaner vehicle that was given to use, for the inconvenience of having to leave the car for the day, instead of waiting at the lobby. (Ask if any are available if you go this route.) The service center team was kind and respectful. I also went onto the showroom floor after picking up our car, to talk with a financial advisor after, it was a neutral experience, so I won't base the rating on that. Service center is decent and they get what is needed done in a timely manner. Thank you. Picture attached was the loaner vehicle. '22 Honda Accord. Nice car, nice temporary drive for the day. If I didn't have kids, this would be a good choice to buy/lease.
