I selected the closest match for car paint and ordered it, putting my car make & model in the notes. I got a sweet call from a wonderful woman who had the order and switched it to my exact car paint! That is outstanding service! It came and is a perfect match!! Yay!!!

I'm a home gamer and last fall I visited Mahopac Auto & Paint with my car's bonnet to try to match the unknown color so I could repair a banged up fender. The staff was very helpful in spite of my ignorance and inexperience, set me up with a pint of color matched paint. Yesterday, I finished up my fender. For a guy who never pounded out a dent and who can't spray a rattle can without multiple drips, the fender turned out better than expected. I'm particularly happy about the color match (a local auto paint supplier was unable to match the shade). I painted the fender, the taillight assembly is untouched.

I have had great experiences with Mahopac, first buying factory colored spray cans for vintage era model cars, to now ordering color coded paint for a 1930’s Pontiac project car. For the car, we worked with Janette to formulate a spray can from a provided color card, and verified it in a discrete area of the car before buying gallons of primer/basecoat/clearcoat. We can’t wait to begin the car!

I bought an aerosol can of paint for a hinge my 43 year old Jeep. It was mixed and shipped the very next day. The product was perfect. I experimented with three different primer colors. The finished paint job with the correct primer and a coating of clear looks EXACTLY like the rest of the Jeep! I am thrilled to have found Mahopac on the Google. Thank you to everyone involved!
