RC Tire shop and Flat-fix

I am writing this review to share a disappointing series of experiences at RC Tire Shop. While I prefer to support local businesses, the lack of product reliability and inconsistent pricing has become impossible to overlook. A few weeks after purchasing a set of tires with 80-90% tread, I discovered that the sidewalls were already leaking. While I understand that used tires aren't meant to last forever, my expectation for a tire with that much tread life remaining is that it should be structurally sound. I shouldn't be waking up to flat tires due to a defect only a few weeks after purchase. Furthermore, the lack of price transparency is a significant concern. Every time I have visited, the quoted price seems to increase, making it feel as though the costs are arbitrary rather than based on a set rate. When I attempted to address the leaking sidewalls, the shop refused to stand by the products they sell. Professionalism involves more than just a transaction; it requires honoring the quality of the goods provided. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this establishment if you are looking for reliable inventory and consistent pricing.

Been coming to this place for almost 2 years now, and RC Tires is definitely the best used tire shop around. Reasonable prices, great staff, and the job gets done fast. Oscar helped me out today and he got my tires on in less than 20 minutes. Love this place and will keep coming back!

Just had my tires replaced and I’m really happy with the service! 🚗 Quick, efficient, and super smooth from start to finish. The guys were friendly, professional, and made the whole process easy. Great prices too, which is always a bonus! Definitely recommend this spot if you’re in the Bay Shore area 👍

Great guys to deal with. I was looking online to find a reasonable place to get a used set of alloy wheels installed on a used small pickup I just bought. The prices I was quoted were crazy,,, The owner responded with a price literally less than half I was quoted elsewhere. I drove to Bay Shore from Massapequa. The guys there could not have been nicer. The installer, Oscar, showed me what he was doing. He showed me that the truck had old valves and pressure sensors. He recommended, as is standard practice when changing tires or wheels, that valves be changed as well. He gave me a very reasonable price to change the valves. The manner in which I was treated was great, unlike other local places that made it seem like they were doing me a favor by answering the phone. These guys were great to deal with. The installer Oscar took pride in what he was doing, so much so that I thought he was the owner, though he is not. The owner should be proud of the fact that these guys truly valued my business. While I was there a guy came in with a nail in his truck tire. They had him in and out of there and on his way with the speed of a race pit crew. No wait for him. That guy was pleased as well. I would not hesitate to go to them again..Great job guys...

Very good place to get your tire fix or change… they have all sizes and brands and also very good prices compared to the tire shops on the area. The guys are very friendly and professionals on what they’re doing. Recommend!!!
