Brezina Autocare

Dropped my car off on January 27th to have the reoccurring problem of my car going into limp mode checked out and fixed. I told Brezina that I had already taken the car to the Toyota dealer and they said to replace throttle body or it could be the ECU. I replaced the throttle body with a brand new aftermarket one and the car still had the same issues so I decided to give these guys a shot. Upon dropping off the car at Brezina I told them this again and asked if it could be the ECU? They said no it was the throttle body. On the phone they said it needed an OEM throttle body and said they would order that from Toyota. I once again stated that I thought it was the ECU. The ordered the part anyway. I called them back again and asked if I could pick up the car and just pay the diagnostic fee because I already had a feeling it was the ECU and my extended warranty would be ending soon. They told me no and that I had to pay for the throttle body regardless because they can't return to the dealer. WOULD BE NICE TO KNOW THAT BEFORE PARTS ARE ORDERED.. Fast forward through 9 days of playing phone tag and being told someone would "call me back at a specific time" about what they discovered only to hear nothing. I received the runaround with absolutely NO information on the status of the car other than they had "been driving it a lot and it had broken down just like it had with me". I had to reach out to them every single time. I asked them to use the extended warranty I had on THREE separate occasions and the last time they claimed they couldn't find the email I had sent with the warranty information the day I dropped the car off. I was told the owner would be calling the warranty company and that never happened either. Out of sheer frustration over the complete lack of communication and them not listening to anything I said I went and picked the car up this evening only to find even more infuriating things. 1. They scraped my interior rocker panel numerous times and got dirt all over it. 2. They left my car on EMPTY with barely enough gas to get to the gas station. 3. They removed a piece from the shifter assembly and didnt install back. 4. Damaged my steering wheel somehow 5. Left dirt on the passenger side door panel inside etc. So in the end I paid $665 to have nothing fixed and my car dirtier than when I dropped it off with no gas inside. They said that even if they could order an ECU like I suggested at the BEGINNING that they might not being able to program it properly... Well then why on earth would I bring it to them! Avoid these guys at all costs. They don't communicate, they don't fully listen to customers suggestions, and they don't care about the condition of your car when you get it back. The bare minimum should be to return the car to the customer the way it was dropped off. Nope!

I’ve been bringing my vehicles to Brezina Auto Care for the past few years, and they’ve consistently been honest, reliable, and reasonably priced — which, these days, feels harder to find than the actual car problem sometimes. Most recently, I brought my vehicle in for new brakes. I dropped it off the day before the scheduled appointment and told them there was no rush, mainly because the car issues made it easier to just leave it there overnight. To my surprise, they actually got the work done the very same day instead of waiting until the scheduled appointment. They fixed exactly what I came in for, didn’t try to upsell me on anything unnecessary, and the price was more than fair — honestly, probably cheaper than a lot of places around town. No “while we were in there…” speech, no mystery problems suddenly appearing, just honest work and great service. It’s hard to find a mechanic shop you can genuinely trust, but Brezina Auto Care has absolutely earned that trust from me over the years. The owner is a good, honest guy, fast service, fair pricing, and people who treat customers right. Highly recommend!

I bought a used car recently. After a week, a service engine soon light came on. I called Brezina Autocare and spoke to the owner about the issue. He got me scheduled for service after a brief conversation about what was going on. I brought it in early and utilized the after hours drop box which was very convenient! The shop called me back later that day to explain what was going on and what work needed to be done as well as a quote for cost. I was super impressed that they didn't just focus on what the computer was telling them was wrong (which I feel like is what most dealerships do at this point), the mechanic inspected and rigorously checked everything out to determine what was the true problem. When I went to go pick up the car later that day, I received a receipt that not only showed the work done but also the status of my vehicle. My brakes (pads) were checked as well as the battery and an overall note of "a good used car" was left on the mechanic notes. I truly appreciated that little touch. It made me feel a little more at ease that I didn't just purchase a lemon. I will be coming back here more often! Great business to support if you're looking for thorough and honest.

Very friendly and helpful. We needed to replace the Tire Pressure sensors on a vehicle. We actually took it to our normal garage and they were going to charge close to $700. Not to mention, the other garage had a litany of other repairs they said needed doing for a totof $4000+!!! No thanks---enter Brezina, who was recommended by my FIL. They replaced the tire sensors for $215, looked over the car and said the rest of the so called repairs the other garage identified weren't necessary, needed to be monitored, but the vehicle is not "falling apart". Will be bringing our cars here from now on, doesn't matter that I live in West O and they are in Ralston/Papillion. I feel they can be trusted to give you an honest assessment.
