Some prefer coffee, some prefer tea. I prefer a service center that I can trust, and today I hit the jackpot. There aren’t many mechanics who will be brutally honest with you, but Havers is the exception. I was having issues with my vehicle and am rather clueless in the subject. Talking with Bud on the phone, we were able to deduce my issue and offered services that would fit my needs. I dropped off my car a few hours after. Thinking it wouldn’t be done until the next day it was out of my mind. Not even 3 hours later Bud called me telling me my car is ready if I have time to pick it up I am more than welcome to do so, all just minutes before they closed. This is a family owned shop, and 100% feels this way. I highly recommend Havers for any of your vehicles needs!

Dropped my wife’s vehicle off for an oil change after hours. The next day, I worked with a service advisor named James and he ensured that the car was well taken care of as well as provided helpful insight into future potential repairs! It made getting an oil change a breeze and will definitely be bringing my other vehicles here from now on!

My wife and I just arrived in Ashland yesterday and our truck decided to not work correctly. I called this shop at 4:30 in the afternoon and James worked me in at 8am the next morning. He said it may take awhile to diagnose since he was already booked up. I arrive at 8 and by 9 they had my truck diagnosed. Unfortunately it was transmission issues and they didn't do that but he helped with where I should take it and how to get it towed. Then he didn't charge me anything. James and this shop went out of their way to get me in a helped the whole way. You just don't find this kind of service today. Thanks to the family owned business and to James. I highly recommend this shop.

Abby in the office and James who worked on our vehicle were very helpful and kept us informed on what was going on. They got our car in earlier than expected and did a great job. Their Elkhorn location is awesome too.

I brought my Jeep Wrangler in for a check engine light related to the EVAP system. The shop performed a smoke test, identified a broken vapor hose on the gas tank, and recommended a full gas tank replacement for upwards of $2,500. I took the Jeep home to explore my options, including whether a new hose or tank from a friend's parts Jeep could work as a replacement, which the shop dismissed without much explanation. After getting home, I discovered I could no longer pump gas into the vehicle—a problem that did not exist before the shop's diagnostics. When I called to ask whether the shop's testing could have contributed to the new issue, the man at reception immediately became defensive and stated it was "100% not caused" by their testing, without any investigation. He sharply offered to bring it back in for another $220 diagnostic fee. I clarified that I wasn't trying to place blame, just trying to understand the problem so I could get it fixed. Rather than responding professionally, he became increasingly defensive and, when referencing my earlier question about using a parts Jeep tank, made a sarcastic and patronizing comment: "Oh, you and your friend haven't replaced the tank yet?" The right move would have been simple: invite me to bring the Jeep in, assess whether the new issue was related to their work, and only charge the fee if it was unrelated. Instead, the defensive and dismissive attitude made a frustrating situation much worse. I wouldn't recommend this shop based on the customer service experience alone.
