From the moment I walked in, Shawn was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to making sure everything went smoothly. He explained the service options clearly, didn’t push unnecessary add-ons, and made sure the work was done efficiently and professionally. What really stood out was his attitude—friendly, respectful, and clearly passionate about customer care. It’s rare to find someone who treats your car like it’s their own and makes you feel like a valued guest rather than just another ticket. I used Dobbs in Lake Saint Louis for years, so I thought I would try them in Jeff City for an oil change and a diagnostic. The blower motor was intermittent—sometimes working, sometimes not. I was charged $315 for the oil change and diagnostic. They replaced a fuse and said it was fixed. It wasn't fixed. Now they want another $225-250 to replace the blower motor. A proper diagnostic should have caught this the first time—checking power at the motor, testing the connector, and verifying the actual failure before replacing parts. Instead, they guessed, it didn't work, and now I'm expected to pay again. If you're going to charge $200 ($189 plus tax) for a diagnostic, it should actually identify the problem. I would have expected some of that fee to apply toward the repair, but that wasn't offered. Disappointed with how this was handled. An oil change and blower motor shouldnt cost 500 plus. For reference: A fuse costs $2 A blower motor runs $60–80 An oil change is $30–50 in materials

View on GoogleI needed an Id/Od, to title my vehicle. Probably one of the simplest services you can request from any auto center. Literally documenting the VIN and milage. My car is just now 10yrs old with less then 115xxx miles. The rude agent at Dobbs refused to preform the inspection. Using the over 10 year exemption to refuse the service assuming i wasn't aware of the OR 150xxx miles part. I took my business to Telle the had me tightened up back on the road in less then 10 min. If you cant provide customer service and refuse simple service request, maybe get out of the service industry all together because you're the opposite of helpful. I appreciate you leading me to Telle tho! They not only knew what to do they also did it.
