Does good work took a few extra days but I had to get my oil pan swapped out as well as a special gasket which I went and bought myself because I thought he was lieing when he said a oil pan gasket costs $60 but he wasn't joking it was $60 at autozone.great work at a great price beat every other shop by hundreds 2009 4.7 engine swap update 5 years later 2/2/2024 truck still going strong just sold it to get a new truck thanks again Yanni

I got a great deal on a used car 5 star 5 star

I wish I could give a good review for this place, but unfortunately I cannot. We found their ad for a 2014 Dodge Ram on marketplace for a decent price and after conversing through Facebook felt very good about driving the hour and a half from our house to come and take a look at it. They seemed very honest and were really communicative, so it didn’t seem like there would be any issues. When we came to look at the truck, visually it was in great condition—clean interior and very nice on the outside. But the problem was the actual mechanics. It was advertised that the engine was completely rebuilt and new with 0 miles as the rebuilt part with the body of the truck having nearly 170,000 miles. As soon as we turned on the truck there was a ticking noise and when we plugged in the code finder there were several issues that popped up. When we put the car in reverse it made a very loud whining noise. Their response to that “it was the new part adjusting.” I’ve never heard such a thing. Because they wanted to make the sale and since it’s a mechanic shop they “fixed” the issues that popped up right on the spot and again, because they wanted to make the sale, they offered a short warranty to be able to return the truck if we weren’t happy. So my teenage son, buying his first car, wanted to give it a try. So we handed them cash for the asking price. Before we even left the city on our way home, the engine light came on. So we called them and brought it back to them. At that point we caught them in a lie. The advertisement said that the engine was rebuilt and at 0 miles. Well, it WAS rebuilt, 2 years ago but they’d been driving it. Still, my son wanted to give it a try and see what another mechanic would say, because it truly was a beautiful looking truck. So they said they did a “hard reset” and they didn’t want to put anymore money into the truck. In reality what they did was unplug the battery and plug it back in. When we got home, the engine light came back on so we took it to a mechanic near our house and they found that the amount of work that was needed to fix it exceeded the amount of money we paid for the truck, nearly $10,000! Unacceptable! It also hesitated when we would accelerate and the engine got louder and louder so it definitely did NOT run perfect. So of course we returned it, and that’s the ONLY positive thing about them. They honored the warranty. Otherwise they’re NOT completely honest and I would seriously question their ability to rebuild engines or vehicles for that matter. If you decide to, bring a code checker, and get EVERYTHING in writing. Everything. I’ve added the original advertisement below for reference.

Honest guy, but he refused to work on a newly purchased vehicle. Totally understood, people get busy but it’s unfair. Otherwise, he had me buy tires for one of my vehicles and I found out I didn’t need any work done. Saved me a ton. Not too bad, just an average mechanic that’s reasonable for the area. But he definitely know his stuff.

Yanni is an honest and very reliable. He is one of the mechanic you can trust. He fix the timing chain of my f150 pick up for 3K which is 1k less than the dealer charge. I'm satisfied with the service.
