Southgate Transmission is ABSOLUTELY THEE BEST!!! I Recommend getting your car service here. The prices are GREAT!! The work is Phenomenal. Mark & Bill provides GREAT WORK!! They did my transmission on my Impala in 1 day. They get you in & out. My car runs excellent. The Customer service is Amazing!!! They have been in business for over 62+ years & I understand why. It is rare that you will find Amazing, quality service nowadays. SOUTHGATE TRANSMISSION IS THE PLACE TO GO. I am very satisfied with the service I received. Thanks again Mark & Bill!!!

Honest and transparent. If ever I need Trans work that is where I'll go. I wanted a fluid flush/fill and a new filter. After checking out my car, he highly recommended against it due to the high miles in my car as it can cause slipping in that case. He could have just done it and took my money, but his honesty saved money and possible headaches too.

Mark is THE BEST. You have never met a more honest and trustworthy person in your life. I will always trust my family’s vehicles with him. They are honest with their diagnosis, fast, accurate and fair. I have always been nervous before I brought cars in anywhere because I know how it can be; but as soon as I walked into southgate transmission I had an instant sense of relief. Mark is not only a great a guy but a calming presence and you can trust he is going to take care of you like he would his own family.

Took my 2015 Jeep Cherokee in to check a potential leak on rear axle near differential that another repair shop noticed. Mark, the owner, put it on a hoist & thoroughly checked it out. Then had me view it with him. He said there was no leak & had no reason to be concerned. Didn't charge me anything but I tipped him anyway. Highly recommend this shop. They are very honest & straightforward. Will definitely return when the need arises. Recently, my 2011 Chrysler 200 wouldn't shift into a higher gear at 30 mph. Took it to Southgate Transmission & Mark immediately scanned it for fault codes, cleared them & test drove it. He called me & then we both went for a drive. Issue was resolved- within an hour. Can't say enough about Mark & his staff. Very honest & affordable. Don't go anywhere else for car repairs!
