Very poor service and I dont usually comment but I see why there ratings are low. I only went because my daughter's car needed some work and stopped at the gas station that was next door. They lied to me and her about some work that needed and after I payed for the job to be done we still had the same problem. Then they told me it was something they don't work on. Told me I need to take it to a transmission shop. I felt like they robbed me and they knew that in the beginning and fixed something I didn't need. Please people dont trust these shops out here. The black guy in the shop was very rude and arrogant being the only one who could speak good English. To the owner, I didn't walk in and say, My car is overheating, nor did I express that I needed a thermostat. My exact words was I wasn't getting any pressure to the peddle when I hit the accelerator. Their first option was a coolant flush. Your employees suggest that my car was overheating and that was the issue and charge me for those items. Regardless, assumptions shouldn't be made when people's lives are on the line.......

Jayden and Mario at 50s Penzoil in Southgate, MI did an outstanding job. They were both very professional, extremely nice, and clearly take pride in their work. They worked efficiently and made the whole experience smooth and pleasant. If I owned the business, they would definitely be my Employees of the Month. Jayden and Mario are great technicians and true leaders—other employees should strive to be like them. I hope this review reaches management because they absolutely deserve recognition or a bonus for the excellent job they’re doing.
View on GoogleThis place is a scam! The main guy there flirts too much which I am not comfortable with since I'm only there for an oil change and they put dirty oil in my car! It stalled in the middle of traffic last night on my way home because if this! They even lied to me about my brakes, claiming they needed to be done, but when I took it to my dad to get done I was told the brakes are fine! Waste of everyone's time! So they were trying to squeeze more money out of me! Absolute scam! I do not recommend this place AT ALL!
View on GoogleMy car was having a couple issues so I just so happened to pull into this 50s Pennzoil and it was one of the greatest decisions. My serpentine belt and tension went out and was completely froze . Mario fixed it in less than five minutes and I couldn’t believe how inexpensive it was I’m so thankful 🥹
View on GoogleAdam needs to be FIRED. He takes advantage of people who don’t know much about cars by adding services they never asked for and charging them for it. Everything starts as a simple oil change, but somehow extra charges keep getting added just so he can make more commission. he words things to make it seem like the services are apart of the oil change. already told several people to not go there and if they do, to ask for another worker
