Took my Pilot here for the first oil change, a big sign next to the entrance “Express service”. What a joke!! If you don’t have all day, don’t go here. A Simple oil change and tire rotation took 3.5 hours even with appointment.

I understand that using a dealership for maintenance and repairs means dealing with higher costs. However, a recent estimate from Tamaroff shocked me with just how high those costs are. My alternator died on Telegraph just south of their dealer, so I had my car brought in for an estimate. This is typically a $600-700 job at most shops. Tamaroff quoted me nearly $1400. Their estimate for ***just*** parts would have covered the whole repair at an independent shop. 100% markup is absolutely wild to me. The repair was also presented to me as incredibly challenging and labor intensive when I spoke with them regarding the estimate. I've never changed an alternator before, but I decided saving $1000 would be worth the struggle. I bought a high quality aftermarket part, watched a couple YouTube videos, and managed to make the repair in my own driveway with just a floor jack and some basic tools. I spent $300 on the part, and saved a huge chunk of money. Do they legitimately feel like this is a $1400 repair, or was I simply quoted the "we don't want to do this" price?

OVERBOOKS SERVICE APPOINTMENTS Like many other reviewers, I experienced a shop that clearly overbooks appointments. After working with my wife to clear up access to her car for the day I made an appointment to have some warranty work done. When I arrived I was notified that they would have to keep my car overnight (actually over the weekend). This is not an option for us. So, in the end I wasted half a day and the car still needs the work done. So...why did I make an appointment folks??

This is a terrible place to get a car or service for your vehicle they take an insane amount of time doing a bare oil change and tire rotation, don’t trust their oil change and tire care packages because they will not actually check your vehicle for problems and will just try to sell you their products instead , the service manager Mark and salesperson Rodent are both arrogant and money hungry person who should not even be employed in a place like this with the way they act and address people, finally this place is a mess you can tell it’s clearly understaffed as their lines are barely ever moving. Steer clear from this place if you value honesty, your time, and money.
