1. Inquired about the status of a used vehicle through an inquiry on their website. Was told vehicle was available and scheduled to go in the following morning. No salesperson name was provided to me. Told I would receive a call in the morning with the name . 2. Following morning, no call. Went to the dealership at my scheduled appointment time. Was handed off to one of the used car sales reps, only to be informed that he was “just given the lead”. Was told at that time that the vehicle was NOT on the lot and did I want to look at something else. Informed the salesperson I called the day before, was told the vehicle was available which is when the appointment was scheduled. The salesman couldn’t provide a reason as to why except that the appointment setters are “off site” and don’t know the actual status. That’s not my issue that’s theirs. 3. They brought the vehicle back from their own body shop down the road. Walking around the vehicle, I found some noticeable damage on the rear tailgate. I was told to come in and see a vehicle that wasn’t even there to look at , only to find out that it’s damaged as will as not cleaned out. Found a casino players card and other personal items in the vehicle still. According to the car fax, the vehicle had been back ar the dealership since the end of May. Nobody apparently looked or prepared this vehicle to be looked at, let alone sold. Since it was a Friday, left a deposit which I was told was refundable since the vehicle was not ready for inspection and for all the issues that had taken place. No PO was signed and no delivery was taken on the vehicle 4. Called to inform my salesperson that I no longer wished to proceed. At that time, he suddenly informs me that I have to come in person to get my refund, even though I was not informed of that Friday when the deposit was left. I said I would attempt to make it up there. 5. Due to several work obligations and projects, I called them the following day. Told them I had the receipt number, the card and even the fact that the card was keyed in and not swiped. I asked to have the refund processed without having to come in due to my work situation. The only solution was me waiting until next week, which I was not willing to consider since my debit card was used or having a family member take their time out to drive up with my card and the receipt to get the refund. I will now more than likely have to file a claim with my financial institution to get my deposit back. Do not recommend this dealership at all. All this work on my end for a car that wasn’t ready for sale , no clear policy on refunds and no options presented except to inconvenience myself and my family. Suggest staying away.

Unlike my sales experience in December and January, I had a great experience with the service department and wanted to make sure I left a review because great service deserves recognition. My 2021 Forester that I just purchased here in January started having transmission issues (hence the 4- star review instead of 5). From the very beginning Cody in service took our concerns seriously. He was communicative, helpful, and kept us updated every step of the way instead of making us feel brushed off or left in the dark. He worked closely with Subaru of America during the diagnostic process, and I truly felt like my concerns were being heard and taken seriously, which you just don’t find often anymore. The dealership kept my car, thoroughly diagnosed the issue, and ultimately replaced my CVT torque converter under warranty. I was so impressed with how quickly they got to my vehicle—especially compared to a closer dealership I had considered, where I was told my car would sit for 4 days before anyone would even look at it. I also want to thank Cody and Mike for helping get us into a loaner car while my Forester was being worked on. That made such a huge difference for our family and took so much stress off the situation. The entire experience made me feel valued as a customer, and that goes a long way. Thank you again to Cody, Mike, and the whole service team for taking such great care of us. I really appreciate it, and I hope you all enjoy the case of Monsters from us, I hope it keeps your spirits high and service running smoothly!

Glassman Automotive kept my vehicle for eight days after I brought it in for a transmission warning light and an airbag light on a used car I had purchased from them a week and a half earlier. I had installed a backup camera and a new head unit, nothing beyond standard straightforward work. Their technician diagnosed the issue as a failed sensor and charged $480 for the replacement. After waiting more than a week for the part to arrive and be installed, the vehicle was still not functioning and the transmission light remained on. At that point, they quoted an additional $1,100 for a complete shifter assembly, insisting the entire shifter box needed to be replaced. I declined, took the car home, scanned it myself, and immediately found a simple voltage fault on Line B caused by a fuse. I replaced the fuse, and the vehicle was fully operational within seconds. The technician at Glassman would have seen the same voltage fault but chose not to address it and instead attempted to upsell an unnecessary repair. The experience was unacceptable. Communication was poor, especially with Michael, and management offered no resolution. Although the car-buying experience itself had been positive, the service department’s handling of this situation was careless at best and predatory at worst. I will not return, and I strongly advise others to avoid their service department.

Worst experience EVER! Bought a used town and country minivan there around Christmas that I saved money for a year and was excited to get a new used car finally after years of driving unreliable cars. They told me car was sold as is no warranty but all there used cars in the price range I was buying at were no warranty, I spent $6400 and I test drove it and seemed fine and buying from a big dealership I thought I would be safe for at least a year or so without anything major problems, nope, not even a month later the transmission went out! Needed a new transmission costing over $5000! I called them and all I got was tough luck it happens and thier was nothing they could do, even though it was 26 days after purchase AND Christmas time! So now I'm broke and struggling to get by when I thought I was buying from a trustworthy dealer.....not so much. I DO NOT recommend buying from glassman auto.
