I brought my 2019 Subaru Forester in for a routine oil change and left with a damaged drain plug. The technician was unable to remove the drain bolt and rounded it off in the process, making the problem significantly worse. As a result, I had to take my vehicle to Midas and pay an additional $100 out of pocket just to have the damaged drain plug extracted so the oil change could be completed. This was an expense and inconvenience that I should never have incurred from a routine maintenance service. What disappointed me even more was how the situation was handled afterward. They refused to take any responsibility for the damage. I then escalated the matter to the corporate office, hoping they would review the situation fairly and stand behind their service. Unfortunately, corporate also declined to help and offered no meaningful resolution. Mistakes can happen in any business. What matters is how a company responds when they do. In this case, neither the local shop nor corporate was willing to take responsibility for a problem that occurred during a simple oil change service. I ended up paying extra money, wasting additional time, and dealing with unnecessary stress because of their workmanship and lack of accountability. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this business.

My wife recently decided to get her oil changed there, and while the service remained excellent, she noted that the overall cost was higher compared to other oil change locations she's used. Upon closer inspection, I noticed the oil change reminder sticker indicated a 3,000-mile/3-month interval for the next service. This is significantly shorter than the 7,500-mile/6-month recommendation outlined in my vehicle's service manual. I've often heard D&H Lube praised for not upselling, but this shortened interval feels like a subtle way to encourage premature oil changes. While I appreciate the service, I'm now questioning the value and feel it's important to be aware of the recommended service intervals for your specific vehicle.
View on GoogleUsually dont leave reviews, but have had 2 bad experiences. First they replaced the oil filter wrong in our Large SUV resulting in oil leaking on our driveway. Second I paid for a Air Filter replacement on my other vehicle during an oil change and I just found out when taking it to the dealership for a tire rotation and an oil change this time, that they never even put the replacement filter in. Just getting people in and out without paying any attention.
