Vehicle was left covered with grease on carpet, leather armrest, seats. Air filters were stated needing changing but had been changed only a week prior to service. Tire rotation caused a ‘ service tire mode ‘

They do a really good job and the communication is top notch. Sent text/email with pictures and descriptions of seen issues and kept us up to date during the entire repair. Highly recommend!

Update: Joe from Gordie's reached out to me and expressed his apologies for what happened and refunded the cost of the filter and was very understanding of my situation and my response to it. I have had one of my vehicles at a different location, so I decided to try out this location for my Ram 3500 since we moved to this area. So here is my story and the reason for the 1 star. When I picked up the vehicle there was a distinct smell of diesel fuel, but I had dismissed it as a side effect of the fuel filter replacement as it is not uncommon to have some fuel spillage. I parked the vehicle in my driveway that day and did not use it until Saturday for the start of our camping trip to Florida. The smell was still present, but it did not become apparent why until I happen to peer through the wheel well and saw a stream of fuel pouring out onto the ground. Enough to create an oil slick on the ground as it was raining. I called your location only to be remined that you are not open on the weekend. I can understand that. However, I was now left with an undrivable vehicle. In an effort to recover our trip plans, I was able to bring my truck to Diesel's Place in St. Clair Shores. Upon his inspection it was revealed that the filter housing o-ring was not replaced and your tech had reused the old one. This caused it to "bunch up" in the housing and was the sole cause of the leak. I had to purchase another filter kit for my truck because it is the only way to get the o-ring. He installed the o-ring and the leak was resolved. At this point we were able to resume our vacation plans with only a four hour delay.

Took my car here to get a front end alignment and a tire rotation. I dropped my car off in the morning and it was done by around 4:30PM. When I picked up my car and they gave me some recommendations on some fluid changes as well as pricing for them, but they didn't push me to do anything. I highly recommend Gordies!

I would like to start out by saying that big Jim's auto repair is a very very reputable auto repair shop. I brought my 2016 Chevrolet Impala in for repair for a evaporator. The amount of work that has to go into repairing that is just unbelievable. They virtually had to tear my whole car apart they took the dashboard out they took seats out they took to console out they also had to take the steering wheel out to fix my car. They not only did an outstanding job in fixing my automobile Jim gave me a very reasonable price to fix my car. I would recommend big Jim's auto repair to anyone that would like to get their vehicle repaired he is reputable and is friendly and Jim gives you a fair price on your repair. I don't know the young man's name that worked on my vehicle but I was so pleased with the workmanship that I gave him a $50 tip he did an outstanding job and I was very pleased with everything.
