CAUTION: UNLICENSED & DECEPTIVE DEALER — In January 2025, I purchased a used vehicle from Gary Watt, operating under the name AutoTuner or A-Tuner Enterprise, LLC, in Randolph, MA. The vehicle immediately failed a Massachusetts state emissions test, rendering it unregistrable. I exercised my right to cancel the sale, and Watt subsequently issued a written agreement to provide a full refund upon receipt of the signed title and bill of sale. I complied, but the refund was never issued. Watt later claimed the vehicle would be resold on my behalf “as a courtesy,” yet no attempt was made to do so. The vehicle remained on my property for months—unused—while Watt retained possession of the keys. The resale was private and not through any action on Watt’s part. The Town of Randolph confirmed Watt and the business does not hold a valid Class II license to sell used motor vehicles, nor does it maintain the dealer bond required by M.G.L. c. 140 § 59. This renders the sale unlawful and potentially in violation of the Massachusetts Consumer Protection Act (Chapter 93A). Watt’s failure to honor a signed refund agreement, coupled with retention of keys and delayed resale, raises serious concerns regarding deceptive and unfair business practices. Public court records show a history of lawsuits, numerous default judgments, and numerous court-issued warrants against Watt and his business, suggesting a pattern of consumer disputes. Online reviews also reveal troubling reports of unresolved refunds, inspection failures, and customer neglect. It also appears Watt is deleting reviews. Based on this and my own experience, there appears to be a recurring practice of targeting vulnerable or less-informed consumers. If you are in this situation I recommend exercising your rights and contacting the following: Town of Randolph Licensing Board Massachusetts Attorney General (AGO) Better Business Bureau (BBB) Mass RMV Title Division MA Small Claims Court Federal Trade Commission (FTC) Prospective buyers should exercise extreme caution. Always verify dealer licensing and bonding with the municipality before proceeding with any transaction.

Do yourself a favor an NEVER purchase a vehicle with Gary at Auto Tuner at 146 S Main St. in Randolph. VERY Unethical business practices. Purchased a vehicle that started giving issues within the first week and refuses to accept the return. He refuses to return payment to the lender and has possession of the vehicle, leaving me with payments. I urge you to find another reputable dealer.

Auto tuner is a great repair shop, Always received quality work at a reasonable price. Never really had any issues. If I did have any problems then it was quickly resolved. You got a customer for life! Also to point out they sell cars too which is a huge plus.

I have purchased 2013 Mercedes-benz ML350 11/2/2018 and upon test driving the vehicle I brought to the owner Gary Watt attention, the concerns that I have: brakes, vibrations at a certain speed, noise from the front passengers side and was told that all concerns will be completed upon pickup of the vehicle. Upon pickup of vehicle on 11/5/2018 the brakes and front clips was the only thing that was completed, the axillary wires was taken out of the vehicle, no screws for the license plates and less than 1/4 of fuel. I have made several appointments with Gary and he cancelled every one. I went and have a mechanic shop did a used inspection and send him the information and still can't get my vehicle repaired. I personally would not recommend this company due to very poor customer service and very poor communications. I have called, texts and in person but he have avoided very form of communications. I paid for this vehicle cash He got the money and the service went downhill. The only resolution is to take legal actions, which is last thing that I wanted to do, but he left me with no other choice. I have dropped my vehicle off 12/5/2018 for boots repaired and as of 12/18/2018, I have left several messages and I can't get any questions or answers about my vehicle.

This guy sells lemons and Guarantees they will pass emissions. I wouldn't buy a glass of water off him on a very hot day because it wouldn't be what he said it was! Save your money and find a reputable dealer !
