I am writing to formally express my disappointment with the service I have received at IRA Subaru on two separate occasions. Despite being asked to give the facility another chance after a poor experience in 2025, my visit today has confirmed that the issues regarding transparency and customer care persist. Incident 1: October 25, 2025 During an oil change, I specifically requested a tire pressure check as my sensors indicated 27–29 PSI. I was assured by the checkout staff that this had been completed. However, after I left the establishment, the sensors still indicated low pressure. When I spoke with Dan Hutt, he apologized, admitted the service was handled poorly, and asked me to return to the dealership in the future so he could personally ensure my SUV was handled by a "top person." Incident 2: April 20, 2026 Following Dan’s advice, I scheduled an appointment giving them another chance, for 8:30 AM 4/20/26, for an oil change, tire rotation, and brake check. I emailed Dan in advance as requested, but received no response. During the visit, I requested a state inspection sticker. I was informed that my vehicle would fail inspection unless I purchased new windshield wipers for $80.00. Knowing my wipers performed well, I declined the inspection and asked to speak with Dan. During our conversation, Dan claimed the dealership could face a $10,000 fine for passing a car with "bad" wipers. However, when he personally demonstrated them on my vehicle, he conceded that the wipers were fine and would have likely passed. Conclusion Despite Dan’s admission, no effort was made to proceed with the inspection I had originally requested. I subsequently drove to a local service station where my vehicle passed the state inspection immediately with the current wipers. It is clear that I was being pressured into an unnecessary $80.00 purchase under the guise of state regulations. This, combined with the lack of follow-up on a previously promised "premium" experience, has resulted in a total loss of trust.

It was a very seamless experience. They were very communicative and engaging. I received a video from the mechanic master (I think it’s the title) letting me know the things he recommends working on. Which I did! They asked for approval before proceeding. So I knew what exactly I was paying for. I’m very very pleased with the results. My baby (Forester wilderness) feels brand new.
View on GoogleAveraging over $1,000 per service on a certified preowned Outback. Go in for timely oil changes and there is always something wrong. I would avoid buying a certified pre owned car from this dealer.
View on GoogleVery disappointing and frustrating. I’d give zero or negative stars if I could. There’s no communication within the dealership. We purchased the vehicle and warranty through them but they didn’t have any of that information when we came in for our first oil change (ie proof of purchase, warranty info, and service they completed while the car was grounded so we could purchase it - which I also don’t believe actually happened). Also, they wanted me to get $3500 worth of work, including 4 new tires on a 3-year, 42k mile car. I didn’t believe that - they just wanted my money. Later the service advisor, Luisa, told me that they found the paperwork and we wouldn’t need the warranty information when coming in again. But when we did for something covered under the warranty, she told me that she didn’t have any of the paperwork and that their system doesn’t store client information like that. What’s the point of the system then? She was nice and probably didn’t deserve my frustration since it was someone else actually recommending and performing the service, but the service department as a whole is a complete rip off. Do yourself (and the local economy) a favor and find a small, locally owned garage to bring your car to that’s trustworthy. That’s what we ended up doing for MUCH better service that was reliable and honest. We will NOT be using IRA Subaru for any service moving forward because of this.
View on GoogleI scheduled an appointment for recommended maintenance, and prior to this experience, I had received service at several other Subaru Service Centers in Florida. This was my first experience at a northern Subaru Service Center, and unfortunately, the Floridian centers set a high bar. It was immediately obvious that the service here is not the same. Upon arriving at my scheduled appointment, I was greeted pleasantly and handed over my keys for service. I was given directions to the waiting area and provided with details. After waiting for my car to be inspected, a service agent approached me in the waiting area to discuss the needed services—something I did not see happen to anyone else in the waiting area during the 2.5 hours I waited. The services needed were not clearly outlined on the balance due, and it was only when I requested a true balance that I received an accurate estimate. At checkout, the final amount was nowhere close to what I had been quoted earlier. In my previous experiences, everything was always clear and informative, but this experience has left me completely disappointed with Subaru. Service Centers play a crucial role in maintaining my loyalty, as they are the part of the company I interact with most after purchasing a vehicle. This experience has seriously undermined my confidence in Subaru's service.
