Danvers Gas & Service

Horrible service. Pulled in to get gas at 430 on a Thursday and the attendant was chatting in the window of a customer on the far pump. After a minute or so he finally turned around and saw me waiting. He turned back to the woman he was chatting with and I assumed he was going to wrap it up and come start my pump. A full two minutes later I decide to save what’s left of my dignity and find another station.

If you are closed at 9 but your business stops taking debit/credit cards at 8:54-8:55 you should have that listed somewhere so people who are low on gas don’t drive all the way to your station, just to be told they can’t get gas without cash because the card machine has been shut down already. Because then that person may run out of gas on the way to the next station, when they absolutely should’ve been able to get gas at Danvers Gas & Service is that is just an insane business practice. Sure, I should’ve gotten gas sooner, but I knew I’d make it there before 9, and that’s when it supposedly closes. Any other business closes the register when they close up for the day, I have never heard of it happening 5-6 min sooner. Not to mention my family and I come here weekly and this guy is just consistently rude, always on the phone (through AirPods) with someone, and acts like you’re a nuisance just for trying to buy gas at literally giving him his job to do which he’s paid for. We got screwed over real bad by the previous owners when getting our cars fixed here, and then we learned that they were bought out by new people, so we kept coming, but after tonight I’m all set with the attendants constant attitude, and now me running out of gas, and having to call a tow truck, when I got there when the place was still open, and had more than a couple minutes left before closing, and still being unable to get gas is just the last straw for me.

Jack the new owner is a great guy and go above and beyond expectations! He has top notch employees that really know there stuff. been bringing all my vehicles to him sense owner ship changed. I have recommended him to all my family and friends and they all say the same thing. It's finally nice to know somebody that isn't going to rip you off like 90% of mechanics I have used In the passed. As a small business owner myself he's is the real deal... Thank you Jack! Amazing, attentive, top notch service. A job quoted by Toyota for over a thousand dollars, Paul & his team got done for half the cost, in half the time, with double the care and delivery of where I got my quote from. I REALLY don’t have the time to explain every terrible thing that happened when bringing my project car to this place when I was younger, but this place is so bad they put aftermarket coilovers in backwards and then the staff talk trash about your car behind your back, worst garage I’ve ever been to and this garage is mostly the reason I fix almost everything on my car now. The owner is a nice guy but the rest of the staff there are lazy and WILL mistreat your car if they don’t like your car, they even left my sunroof open one time, enjoy the ride?
