I've been a regular at this station for a long time because it's close to home, but after my recent experiences, I won't be returning. There is an attendant here who has a habit of saying "thanks for the tips" when handing back credit cards, even when no tip was given. It happened to me twice, and my girlfriend has mentioned he does the exact same thing to her, which has made her feel very uncomfortable. Today, I tried to clarify if it was a language barrier, perhaps he meant "thanks for your business", but when I politely asked what he meant, he doubled down, became defensive, and told me, "Please get out of here" while waving me off. It is incredibly rude and disrespectful to guilt-trip customers or be dismissive when they ask for clarification. It's a shame because of the convenience, but the toxic attitude isn't worth it.

View on GoogleWe are on a multi-city road trip to visit family, and our AC compressor died with a heat wave on the way. A friend recommended High Street Service to us, and even though the mechanics were swamped with work they still agreed to see us the next morning. We dropped the car off expecting that the repairs might take days, but not only did they already have the right compressor in stock, they put an extra person on the job to get the installatoin the same day so we wouldn't have to delay our trip. The price was very reasonable and the service was communicative and kind. Can't recommend this place highly enough, they are miracle workers!

For that mechanic, I tell you: drop the tools and go appreciate the beauty in life a little bit, you'll thank me and others will thank you. You have a horrible horrible personality. Be better
