I recently had my car towed to Christian Brothers Automotive because it wouldn’t start after attempting to jump-start it. I was surprised when the diagnostic test came back saying both batteries were bad, especially since the battery had just been replaced on 10/25/25. I still don’t have a clear answer as to why it tested as a bad battery so soon after replacement. Justin provided a long list of recommended repairs that totaled close to $5,000. I declined the fluid flushes and several other suggested services to bring the total down to around $3,500. During the conversation, new ball joints were strongly recommended. While I understand maintenance and safety are important, I felt pressured over the phone to approve that repair for the safety of my family. In hindsight, I believe the ball joints may have been able to wait a little longer. Overall, I would have appreciated more clarity on the battery diagnosis and less pressure when making repair decisions. Transparency and allowing customers time to make informed choices would improve the experience. With that said I feel all the viedos and information they give you helps you know how things operates. After paying $2,900 for the repairs of the ball joints and did more price comparing with others automotive places. Christian Brothers price for that repair is almost doubled the cost of the repairs at Joe's Auto etc.. at $1,500.

They could have easily conned me into trying to repair something that is not repairable, but they consciously chose to do the right thing, which is so unusual in this world today. When I do get a vehicle that is worth keeping in good repair? I will definitely go back to Christian Brothers.
