I bought a 2013 ford f150 and trans wouldn’t shift. I had it towed to don hind ford to find the problem. Don hind told me I needed a new rebuilt transmission and the cost would be 8800.00. I contacted Simmons and they said they could rebuild it for half the money so they sent their truck to pick it up. 2 days later my truck is fixed. It didn’t need a transmission. It was only a cracked cooling line.,they replaced the transmission cooler and installed new trans lines and fill the tranny fluid. 505.00 counting the tow. What great honest people and extremely professional. Great people to be with. I would totally recommend Simmons!!!

Bad Experience. Ford Edge Gives a code. Code is bad o2 sensor ( oxygen sensor ). Call days ahead of time to set appt and got a quote to change the O2 sensor. I arrive the day of appt, and they dont even have me on the list. They said they not sure if they can do it today, until i was going to just drive it away, and then they said the could get it in. I get a call a couple hrs later, and they say that they think its something else. i said its giving a bad o2 sensor code. They wanted to charge me a ton for something else, and not fix the code item. So i said i will just come pick the truck up and have someone else fix the part. I come later that day to pick up the truck, and they try to charge me for diagnostics. Even though they literally fixed nothing. Didnt even want to fix the problem that we had set up the appt for, and tried charging me for diagnostics. We already had the Ford code. It already said bad O2. I could not believe it. I refused to pay, and had the owner trying to strong arm me at the end to pay for nothing. Then when i refused to pay for the bogus diagnostics, They acted like i was the problem. I could not believe what i was hearing. I initially thought the $250 qoute for the o2 sensor was high . but went ahead anyway. Then had to deal with this the entire day. wasted day. no repair. still broken vehicle

Broke down at the Greenfield exit in I-70 and was towed to the recommended Simmons Automotive. They were able to get me right in and diagnosed the problem right away. It was not good news, and from being out of state had to work out details to get me home. The garage was gracious enough to let me hang out in the waiting room and then take me to Enterprise for a rental. They found a used engine right away and within a week had it repaired. Everyone I came in contact with was very nice and informative. Communication was kept opened the entire time my car was in service. I would highly recommend Simmons for your cars repairs.
