I’ve owned my maverick bought at don Hines for 2 years. within the past year I have had my truck in for service on several check engine lights one of those was on for an entire year because they accidentally forgot to order the part and had me waiting over 6 months before sharing that info btw. Now for this year my car has been vibrating only when accelerating, the first time I took it in they looked at it (3 days) and claimed my tires needed balanced but I had just got them balanced because they were brand new (btw the ford maverick factory tires might last 30k miles) so I took their word and went back to the tire place and had them pay for the rebalancing (btw it was an outrageous price never come here for anything other than what you have too)because they improperly balanced my tires or so I thought. The second time they claimed my rims were bent so they bent them back (again outrageous prices they really need to get in touch with the market) so this weekend after still experiencing horrible vibrating when accelerating I bought brand new rims just to find out my truck still vibrates obviously meaning it wasn’t the rims(so they lied). Then I decided to get on some forms to find a surplus of people having the exact same issue with dealership’s misdiagnosis of a failing inner CV joint on a car with only 30k miles. Why this hasn’t been recalled is beyond me and creates a bad taste in my mouth with Ford in general. But I’m at 51k miles currently and have been dealing with this issue since 30k. I bought new tires and rims for there misdiagnosis of my new trucks inner CV joint. What a joke of a dealership and Ford as a company for not taking the necessary responsibility for this issue, I mean seriously look at the maverick truck club forms I am not even close to the only one.

View on GoogleI took my f150 in for two items. I had a shimmy after 65 miles an hour. They diagnosed and fixed the problem with no issues. The second item was that my ABS module was faulty for the hill descent braking system. They quoted the repair and the cost was a bit steep to me. I received a second quote from a local mechanic who did the work for $1300 less plus did a full inspection on the truck for no added cost. The dealerships communication and service were okay, but the cost is marked up way beyond acceptable range. I will only come here for items that require a dealership such as a recall etc moving forward.
