I can’t say enough good things about Whips Automotive in Wheeling, IL — and especially Sam, Tommy, and Lefty. These guys are the absolute best. I’ve been coming to them for over 10 years, and even after moving out of state to Nashville, I still trust them with my cars. Recently, I bought a used car in Illinois and made a point to bring it to Whips for a check-up. True to form, they treated me like family — just like they always have. They looked out for me, gave me honest feedback, and made the whole process easy and stress-free. It’s rare to find people this helpful, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind in the auto business. If you’re anywhere near Wheeling and need a mechanic you can truly trust, this is the place. I’d give them 10 stars if I could.
