Value Transmission

Mark communicates clearly on what needs to be done and gives options. I had to get my car towed twice due to what eventually ended up being transmission issues, mechanics couldn't figure it out. I got referred to Mark. He allowed me to tow overnight at his parking lot which is very Tow truck friendly, and drop off key. Was able to get my transmission replaced for much lower than what the dealership would have costed me, and he clearly communicated to me when it would be ready for pick up. Great experience.

I came in with a transmission issue where my 2014 camry would tweak when switching gears. We can feel the issue when driving but no lights were on the dash. I was told it would take 2 weeks to fix. A week and half after dropping the car off I hadn't received any information so I called and was told they needed another week. After a week, I didn't receive any calls so I call them back. I was told by they needed more time. They spent about a month on it. I pick it up on a Friday morning, and after driving about 10 minutes, some lights on the dash show up, although I didn't feel any issues. I brought the car back to the shop on Monday to get it fixed. They proceed to have my car for another 2-3 weeks. During this time, I'm never given an accurate response of when I can get the car. Every time I call, I'm told another couple of days and when a couple of days go by, I didn't receive a call. Finally get the car back and by the time I'm down the street, lights on dash show up again. I also feel the original issue again. By now I need the car so I let them know I'll drop it off at the end of the week. I take the car on the highway, not going more than 60 mph, and the car breaks down and stops moving while on the highway. I get the car towed to their shop. Now I tell them to take their time with fixing it as it is now the third time I've brought it there. They have it for more than a month, terrible communication throughout the month, and when I get the car back, the issue is still there. I asked for a refund for their work as the car was never fixed and they were not willing to pay.

Mark the owner of value transmission was a life saver. I have a commercial vehicle that was in need of a complete new trans. Not only did marks pricing come in well below the dealer, but he also paid attention to detail catching a few other issues before they became a problem. He did what he said and then some. Awesome work great service. Honest and transparent communication. Affordable compared to many shops in this area highly recommended. My car was misdiagnosed several times with crazy quotes beyond the value of the vehicle. Took it to Mark At Value transmission. Was able to diagnose the issue within a few hours and get the car back on the road within a few days without breaking a hole in my pocket. Very thankful that I found an honest independent mechanic in a long time.

This is the second time that I have had to go to Value transmission because of my car doing something strange. First time I thought it was the transmission they ran a complete Diagnostic, drove the car, came back and told me that nothing was wrong with the vehicle..... I was stunned and thrilled that they were honest enough to say that and there was no charge(who does that?...NO ONE). This time, warning lights popped up on my dashboard and I thought it was a problem the engine. Took it in once stated pretty sure it was an error coming up because Jiffy Lube did the oil change and did not reset the service due. I'm hoping nothing transmission or engine goes wrong with my vehicle but I know exactly where I will be going if it does. Thank you so much for your honesty and the lack of price gouging, it is uncommon and shows a tremendous amount of integrity.
