This is the business I was forced to go to just because it’s close to my house, even though my Tesla had a cracked rear left rim. First, they charged me $80, claiming they would perform a temporary fix on the rim. The tire went flat again the exact same day. The fact that it took them 45 minutes just to separate the tire from the rim already shows they have absolutely no idea what they are doing. When I went back, they promised the car would be ready the next day, but they didn’t even touch it for three whole days. If you promise a car will be ready tomorrow, it needs to be ready tomorrow—that’s not how you keep a promise. On top of that, they wanted $150 to $250 for the actual repair. I ended up taking my car back from them without them even knowing and took it elsewhere, where it was properly repaired for just $40. These people know absolutely nothing about cars.

I got stuck in the middle of the street, and the team from Main Automotive in Skokie came right away to help me push my car into the shop. They quickly diagnosed the issue and had it fixed within just a few hours! Excellent service, very friendly, and the prices were more than fair. View on GoogleI highly recommend this auto service. I was at the gas station kitty corner to Main Auto trying to put air in my tire and didn’t have a tire gage. The owner/manager happened to be pulling in and asked if I needed help. I think he saw the frustration on my face. I said yes. He said my shop is right across the street. Come on over and I’ll help you. I went over and he sent one of his mechanics out. Not only did the mechanic fill the low tire, he made sure the other 3 tires were in good shape. I went in to pay and the owner/manager said you don’t owe me anything I was helping you out. My heart was really touched as a result of his kindness. What he didn’t know what that I was on my way to the hospital to care for my mom who had been very ill. Thank you for your kindness! Though I didn’t really have any mechanical service done I can’t help but to believe that his shop would do a great job.

Very satisfied with the work and turnaround time. Price was very reasonable as well(other speed shop had quoted me almost double) Would definitely recommend anyone looking for quality service by their experienced mechanics. Billy was the one who worked on my cobra and explained to me each step of the process in detail. Their other staff was very friendly as well. Will come back here for all my vehicular needs!
