Turns out the tire rotation wasn't needed on this visit. I would recommend CarX Skokie to anyone looking for trustworthy auto care.
View on GoogleI’ve been a loyal CarX customer for almost 10 years, first in Chicago and now in Skokie, which makes this experience especially disappointing. When it came time to pay my $130 bill, I realized my debit card had fallen from my pocket (probably while I was cleaning my car from the snow). So I asked Mike if my daughter could pay by phone. His response was, “I don’t take excuses,” which was rude and dismissive. He was grouchy from the start. I understand the weather has been terrible, but that’s not an excuse to treat customers poorly. He insisted that only a physical card could be used. After I asked about other options, he reluctantly said the system could be “forced” to accept phone payment — and it worked immediately. So clearly there was a solution all along. No long-term customer should be treated this way. CarX needs better customer service and more flexible payment options. Loyalty should matter, and respect should be standard.
