Costco Tire Service Center

This was one of the worst and dangerous tire shop experiences I've had. One of my family members bought a set of tires from Costco and was installed at this location on April 16th and the day after installation, my family member complained of a shaking and terrible vibration when driving the Vehicle. I confirmed the vibration after driving it around, and it felt so bad it felt like like a suspension part was coming off. I looked around the car and noticed that the rear right tire was starting to de-bead and/or was not seated properly on the wheel (See photos). On top of that, they left a big amount of the install lube all over the face of the wheels and tires (see photos). So I called the tire center immediately, and they inspected the wheel/tire later that day and they had to pump more air into the tire for it to seat. I asked to know if it was a tire issue or install issue and they confirmed it was a install mistake but they initially offered no apologies or reimbursement for the potential danger and mistake. I asked to speak to the manager of the tire center (Nick) who kept on insisting that the tire not fully seated on the wheel would not have caused a safety issue which is bogus, insulting, and appalling to say to something that is not supposed to happen in the first place if Nick and his team were actually thoughrough with everything. I wonder if they would have happily given an improperly mounted tire to their family members and told them to drive on it because it would have caused a safety issue? Idiotic. What made laugh is that Nick only offered a $30 gift card for trouble and danger they caused. Fortunately, I was able to talk to the assistant general manager and he offered more. However, in my opinion, none of the amount they offered even comes close to the reimbursement someone should expect when a shop doesn't take their work seriously and puts you and your family in danger. I called and left messages to the district managers of Costco Tire (Darren Davis & Matthew), and none of them got back to me. It's crazy to think that Costco Mangement accepts this kind of quality of work. Even worse is that their managers and employees don't care to put the safety of their customers first. Take your business elsewhere. it's safer.

Very bad experience. After balancing wheels they don't even clean salt from rims and put balance weight on top, and they fall off in two days

You get what you pay for. Tires were great and were installed properly and in a timely manner. The problem came when when the free warranty needed to be utilized. Since my tires were not rotated there( they were rotated where I get oil changed) it was made to sound by the manager like they were never rotated. Said 75 percent of tread life was gone after just over 20,000 miles. Also made a big deal because the tire was brought in without the car because it was flat and this car does not have a spare tire. Implied I was trying to scam the place somehow. I'm not really sure how and also not really sure how people with cars that have no spare are supposed to get the whole car to the place. Long story short I received a minimal discount on a new tire. Also they lost the center cap on my rim, said it was never there. So I had to buy that on my own. Went to pick up the tire after it was done and all the employees were really rude. The feeling I got, overall, was they will come up with any excuse not to honor their free warranty. So like I said you get what you pay for.

When dropping off they said it would be about an hour. Two hours past appointment time still nothing. They then said it would be another hour, so 3 hours for a simple rotation, with an appointment booked.

Staff was extremely helpful, professional and polite. I was in a hurry and they bent over backwards to help me with tire installation on short notice. They have won my business and I highly recommend them.
