Brought my Ford F150 EcoBoost in to Lakemoor Transmissions for Turbo replacement, turbo lines and fittings. They kept me updated on progress, had fast turnaround time (which was huge as this is my work truck) and they nailed the pricing. I called around to several other shops. No one could come close to their prices. I highly recommend this shop. I will definitely be telling everyone about them. They are the very best!! Thanks again guys! Dan
View on GoogleOur work van was in need of transmission service, and it was imperative we get the work done as soon as possible as we had several jobs lined up. We called on a Wednesday morning and initially they did not know how soon they could get the parts. However, we received a phone call about 20 minutes later saying they could get the OEM parts that afternoon. So we dropped off the van that same day and they had everything finished on Thursday afternoon. Their price was about 30% less than other quotes we received. The owner is super nice and we are so pleased with their service. From one family business to another...thanks so much for the outstanding service!

The transmission on my work van (2016 Chevy Express) was malfunctioning ready to give out. As it’s a work van , we were scheduled for pick ups and delivers totaling thousands of dollars the week of. Chris at Lakemoor Transmissions & Auto Repair was the ONLY shop to give me a GREAT price, VERY QUICK turnaround and an EXCELLENT WARRANTY. Chris was able to order, replace, and program the transmission in 2 days. He kept me updated every step of the way. I felt very at ease under such a stressful situation. Took work van in on Monday and picked up on Wednesday. If it wasn’t for his excellent service , my company would’ve lost out on contracts worth thousands of dollars. View on GoogleComing from an ex mechanic and someone who worked in the automotive industry for many years, Chris is a top notch guy and his knowledge and work both reflect off that. He's beyond knowledgeable, honest, humble, does great work, and is thorough. Ive dealt with many transmission shops individually, and in business settings, with that said ill gladly reccomend him to anyone. Any questions i asked he had an answer to instantly, he knows his stuff. He wasted no time getting me in, gave me a reasonable window which he stuck to and although parts I supplied were incorrect he put the job on hold and asked what direction id like to go without being pushy or taking advantage. Honesty like that is hard to find and for that reason alone hell be handling all of my transmission/t-case needs from here on out, as well as referring anyone who needs trans work too!
