Sutton Ford Inc. Service

Brought my 2019 Escape in to service 5/18/26. My vehicle was there about 2 weeks to see why periodically all the warning lights would come on and the radio would tell you take it to the nearest dealer . During this time, I was first told I needed a new battery ($240) then was told that didn’t correct the issue. I was asked had it been in an accident ( NO ) we pulled the car fax and all while I came to get a loaner . No additional alterations at all ever done to my car . I was next told it could possibly be the main harness and given a price of $9000 plus labor ( the car blue booked is only worth $9800 you got to kidding right) . So 2 days later after they took it apart and put it back together it was acting normal so I was told let them keep it one more day to make certain it was repaired. Drove the car for a week and a half back to square one but yet $1438 dollars later. Take the car back and of course im being told it’s the main harness. Help me understand how a car that’s never been in a accident, flood etc has A issue as such and yet and still the service team played the $1438 dollar guessing game with me and my money. Unfortunately I’m still paying for this car and now is not a good time to trade in but to take someones money and not fix the issue and no goodwill assistance for corporate office is truly a black eye on ford and my future endeavors with them.

The front desk people are amazing. They took there time to insure I knew everything. I spoke to 2 different people only cause my insurance said they made me a appt for a recall they did not so when I arrived she booked a appt the following week. The next person explained the recall to me.He was very knowledge and explained this was a partial fix and I would need to return.

The Mechanic called me to let me know that he was on the way. Once he got there he started to service my vehicle. He was very polite and professional. He was very thorough. He pulled my cabin filter and it was filthy. He also pulled my oil filter and that was filthy too. He also pointed out a issue about my lugnuts swelling and told me the proper measurement. I appreciated the fact that this is being done in front of me and I don't have to wonder if a part is good or not. Sutton Ford is a ethical company and they have my consistent loyal business.
