I went to W Auto Works on 1/31/26 for a 4- Wheel Alignment and Wheel balancing for all 4 of my wheels. I regret going to this place just to save a some money. The didn't not do a good job with the alignment. I am pretty sure they did minimal effort with the balancing which they chaeged me $100. They need to get people who can actually perform alignments. I was plannin to get my other cars here as well but will definitely avoid this place. I was told that I would receive a message with the before and after reports but never received one.

WARNING - SCAM. Went in for a four wheel alignment that bought on Groupon, they brought the vehicle in and pulled it back out exactly 12 minutes later claiming the job was finished. No chance you can complete a 4 wheel alignment in 12 minutes. When I asked for an alignment report, I was texted two photos from vehicle “other” - with only photos showing a random measurement, no before or after. Tried calling them twice and was put on hold both times for 5+ minutes once they recognized my number. Fernando Uribe is a dishonest person. Stay far away from this shop. Reported to BBB.

Every once in a while, you meet someone who truly cares about doing the job right. Fernando (I believe he’s the owner) is exactly that kind of person. From the moment I arrived, he was courteous, attentive, and genuinely focused on solving the issue. I had the front wheel alignment done, and while waiting, I noticed how politely and professionally he interacted with every customer. When my car was finished, it drove significantly better, but I noticed the steering wheel was still slightly off-center. I turned around and went back to the shop. Fernando immediately took the car out himself, confirmed what I was feeling, and had a technician correct it right away. The car now drives perfectly. I was originally going to give 4 stars because of the minor rework, but Fernando’s excellent service and willingness to make it right changed my mind. He’s a true role model for how business owners should treat their customers.

Had a great experience with Auto Works of Lombard. I brought my car in for an alignment, and they absolutely nailed it—drove it home and it was straight as an arrow. What really stood out was the attention to detail. The mechanic took the time to do it right—test drove it before starting, worked on it for about 30 minutes, then took it out again. I even saw him bring it back in to make further adjustments and go for another test drive before confirming everything was perfect. That level of care and workmanship is hard to find. Amazing service from start to finish. I highly recommend giving them a call directly before buying parts or services online—they’ll take care of you the right way.

I finally found a mechanic shop I actually trust... which feels like winning the lottery these days. From the moment I walked in, Fernando was friendly, honest, and didn’t try to “mysteriously discover” ten extra problems under the hood. He explained everything in a way that made sense (no confusing jargon or pressure), gave a fair estimate, and stuck to it. The work was done on time, and my car is still running. You can tell they actually care about their customers, not just the bill. If you’re tired of feeling unsure at repair shops, this place is a breath of fresh air.
