I did a start motor core return last week and was told I’d have my core charge fee back in a day or two and now it’s been 5. When I called I was given the “we’re not the bank I don’t know” run around. I can’t seem to reach anyone who will help me and either give a check or cash instead. This should be the simplest aspect of this process.
View on GoogleCall everyone , do some research on your own! Remember, YOU are the one undercutting the dealerships by doing work yourself. It is not Lee's responsibility to know "EVERYTHING". They are not the actual mechanics. Use O'REILLY'S and AutoZone as price comps only. Then, go in and buy from Lee Auto. I'm not saying they are cheapest but they are good about returns and they do have someone around usually to answer questions that was a mechanic or they are all gear heads. Not like Auto Zone where you walk in and a "retail associate" just hands you what pops up on computer. Which could work out just fine, I prefer the gear head's experience Lee does offer. I'm referring to Lee Auto on Oakton in Niles BTW! * One last thing, if they come as busy or rude on the phone. It's not because they are actually being rude. They just truly are thay busy! Have a little patience with the people that are helping you save A LOT of $ !!!

View on GoogleWhat kind of car parts store changes their hours during the winter? First they say my part will be in on Saturday that was a straight lie. Now I get off work, get here at 6:30pm 30mins to spare. And these ass wipes decide to close an hour early for "winter hours". Real professional.
