Today is my 2nd time here. First one was an appointment a couple months ago and today as a walk-in. Normally, I should have been turned down because of vehicle scheduling BUT, the Owner still made time for me as fast as he could. He did the inspections himself, completely documented. Thank you. 2 Hondas assessed. 👍👌

View on GoogleWe had an amazing experience with Tire Kickers today following the major Intoxalock outage which resulted in vehicle service being required. The staff was responsive, polite and truly customer focused. This has always been the case, but today they went above and beyond to fix the issue. Dwayne, Paul and the entire staff is always there for us.
View on GoogleI was considering buying a 2017 Jaguar XF and needed an independent mechanic who is qualified to evaluate and work on luxury cars in Des Plains, IL. I searched reviews for the best auto repair company that performed pre-purchase inspections. I found Tire Kickers Station # 5 through those reviews and called them. Jidd Mitsubishi Motors allowed Duane from Tire Kickers to pick up the Jag and bring it back to their shop for a thorough inspection and test drive. For $249 Duane completed a 172 point inspection including the frame, undercarriage, engine, brakes and all operational features. He called me that afternoon and shared a few minor things that needed fixing, but gave a very positive review of the car. He suggested I use those things that needed to be fixed as leverage points to either lower the price or get them fixed for free. After a tough negotiation the dealer agreed to fix the three problems without cost. I feel confident in the mechanical integrity of this Jag because of Duane’s thorough inspection and the various third party maintenance reports he provided as part of the fee. So I bought the Jag and highly recommend Tire Kickers Station # 5 in Des Plaines, IL (and Duane). Don’t buy a used car without getting an independent mechanical evaluation (from Tire Kickers).
View on GoogleI was having issues with my nearly 10 year old 100K vehicle. I brought it to Duane to determine whether I should fix or sell. Duane checked my engine and went for a short drive with me to listen to a noise I had and couldn’t identify. (Locking up the shop to do so). After all was said and done I knew what was wrong with my vehicle and had a clear plan going forward. Duane is a down to earth old school individual who you know a hand shake means something to. Duane refused any payment for his time and service for as he said, “I really didn’t do anything”. Duane, I disagree. You did a hell of a lot! Great place, great service. Definitely 5 stars.
