Jomari, Jesus, and the whole team took such great care of me from the beginning! My car has been bothering me for months and I couldn’t figure out why. Jesus diagnosed what was wrong right away and not only explained but educated me on what was wrong and why my catalytic converter was causing so many problems. You can always tell when people truly care because they serve you well. I would recommend this location and team to anyone for their transmission and engine needs! I brought my car to AAMCO Transmissions & Total Car Care for an engine inspection due to a misfire—something that can often be caused by a leaking head gasket. I was told the engine was removed and inspected, but there was no documentation, no photos, and no signs under the hood that anything had been touched. The engine bay was spotless, making it hard to believe any real inspection took place. When I called to ask if I could pick up my car, the technician politely told me they were putting it back together and to give them about an hour. Just two minutes later, I got a call from the district manager, Stan, who was rude and disrespectful. He told me the car was already ready for pickup and spoke in a condescending tone. When I tried to explain the conflicting information and ask reasonable questions, Stan threatened to hang up on me without letting me finish. This entire experience felt shady and unprofessional. If the engine was truly removed, why wasn’t something as critical as a head gasket even mentioned or replaced? Based on the service and Stan’s behavior, I seriously question whether any proper inspection was ever done. Save yourself time, money, and frustration—avoid this shop.

A Frustrating and Dishonest Experience: I brought my car to AAMCO for a full inspection, expecting professional service and transparency. Unfortunately, my experience was anything but. The next day, I received a $1,000 service invoice to replace my alternator, which was surprising since no inspection was even performed. When I arrived to pick up my car, I learned the mechanic couldn’t jumpstart it to bring it into the shop. Instead they simply rolled it in without starting it. The mechanic then claimed my alternator was bad and insisted I needed a new battery as well, despite not being able to start the car to run any diagnostics. When I questioned how they determined the alternator issue without a running vehicle or inspection, I got no clear answer. This raised serious red flags. My battery was fine—I used my own small jump starter to start the car and leave the shop, something their “thousand-dollar equipment” couldn’t manage. I declined their unnecessary services and left without the free inspection AAMCO advertises. This location’s practices feel like a scam, pushing unneeded repairs without proper evaluation. Avoid this shop if you want honest, reliable service.

My first time using their service as i was canvassing for my broken sway bar kit, They provided fast and friendly service with reasonable price and does not charge extra for using a credit card for payment w/c is a big plus for me. Will be using them for all my car needs from now on…
