I don’t write reviews often but am learning the importance and value of reviews recently, and Western Auto absolutely deserves this. They have taken incredible care of both of my cars over the past year. Every time I bring my vehicle in, they are thorough, transparent, and incredibly detailed. One thing I genuinely appreciate is how they include photos with their inspections, even for something as simple as an oil change. That level of detail might seem small to some, but to me it matters a lot. It shows they take pride in their work and want you to actually understand what’s going on with your car. On top of that, they’ve always been patient with me when I have questions. Recently I’ve been trying to navigate some bigger decisions with my vehicle, and they’ve gone out of their way to offer honest advice. That kind of guidance is hard to find. Everyone there has been kind, personable, and easy to talk to, including the owner who has taken time out of his work day to speak to me as well. After experiences at other places, including a local dealership, where my trust was shaken, Western Auto has completely restored that for me. I’ve only been going there for about a year, but they’ve absolutely earned my trust and my business moving forward.

These guys are amazing! I had been told by a dealership that my 2017 Camaro had a MASSIVE amount of errors and issues. Brought it to Western for a second opinion and they not only found the problem, but got it fixed quickly and for a lot less than what the dealership wanted. (and as a side note, they did not find the same amount of "errors" as the dealership did..) The customer service is TOP notch. Jackie is amazing and I appreciate their honest and up front pricing and full list of things that needed fixed.

So, I don’t write many reviews however I feel the need to express my sincere gratitude for the service I received at Western Auto. First of all, my daughter goes to Boise State and I don’t live in Idaho. I called around looking for an auto shop that could do new brakes for her car. I talked to Jason at Western Auto and he told me he would take care of my daughter’s needs like it was his own daughter. He did not lie. Jacqueline called me and told me that they found issues with the vehicle that the company that we bought new tires from missed. Not only did jacqueline contact the previous company that we bought the tires from, she made sure that the previous company put new tires and a rim on the vehicle that they messed on. They treated my daughter like it was their daughter. They treated me like family and for that I am forever grateful. I feel like I’ve made lifetime friends because they are real people and care about their customers like they are family. The whole staff, but especially Jacqueline went out of their way and above and beyond to help me out. This isn’t in any business model or policies for their company, you can’t teach this and they don’t do it for incentives. They are wonderful people and they truly care. Not only do I recommend Western Auto if you have any automotive repair needs, but if you need advice on how, what and when your vehicle needs service or repair, this is the place to go. Thank you Western Auto for everything!!!

They were able to replace my alternator within a couple of hours of arriving without requiring an appointment. Jacqueline was an excellent Service Advisor. She was personable, attentive, and kept me updated throughout the entire process.

We recently moved our vehicles for service to Western Auto. After an oil change for the car, I took the pickup in for an early change since it was a little low. Jacqueline inspected and recommended just a top-off since the oil still looked fine. She did that at no cost and extended the due date since I was using full synthetic. I greatly appreciated the honesty!
