I’ve been bringing my car here for over a decade, and my parents have trusted them with their vehicles for years as well. When the shop changed ownership a couple of years ago, we were genuinely concerned that the level of service might change. I’m happy to say it hasn’t. The team is friendly, reliable, honest, and reasonably priced. They’ve always been willing to take a quick look when something comes up, and more than once they’ve been able to diagnose or fix a minor issue on the spot and get me back on the road in just a few minutes. When an appointment is needed, they’re easy to schedule with and turnaround times are fast. It’s also great to see Fred still around from the previous ownership. Every visit leaves me feeling well taken care of, and I’ve always felt confident that the recommendations and pricing are fair and honest. Highly recommend!

Stopped in, without an appointment because I was in the area, for an oil change while they were busy on a Saturday. Despite this they fit my car in, and got it done rather quickly while also explaining the levels and quality of my fluids and both filters. Prices and service were great and I will definitely return to this location.
View on GoogleI was driving west on I84 and noticed vibration in my wheels at high speed. Having had very good experience with Point S franchises, I found Gills Point S on Vista in Boise. Fred Encinas answered immediately, I explained my issue, and he said to come on in. I arrived at an immaculate auto service shop with smiling customers, and a comfortable, clean waiting room. Fred got to me within minutes, understood my issue, and within an hour handed me the keys to my serviced car. The service technician had diagnosed the problem, removed excess wheel weights, rebalanced the wheels, and road tested the car. I’ve now driven smoothly over 1000 miles without a wobble or a bump. I wish Gills Point S on Vista was closer to my home in Wyoming – I’d have everything done there. I can’t recommend it highly enough and wish it could be used as a model for all auto service shops. Fred was amazing – efficient, informed, good communication, friendly, and customer service-focused. Thank you for a great experience and renewed hope and faith in the auto servicing profession.

I brought my car in both times and I felt so bad, but they were not judgy at all and totally turned a bad situation into something pleasant. All is fixed, quickly with great service and John is so professional and friendly. Definitely recommend coming here!!!!!
