I am generally very distrustful of mechanics, particularly in our area because I feel they know generally people don't know anything about the trade and are easy to take advantage of. MM is not one of those people, they get my full endorsement. I came in unannounced with a moderate brake issue (2 busted calipers and the ebrake froze to my wheel and absolutely fried the rotor) and by 4pm these kings had my Lincoln back in my possession running beautifully and stopping properly for what I now realize is the first time since I bought the thing. They are very honest, provide good service, and do it right the first time. Luckily I haven't been in there for a long time until yesterday, but when I need a good mechanic to get it done right, I choose these guys like Ash chooses Pikachu Good work doesn't come cheap, and cheap work doesn't come good. These guys are at a happy medium where good work comes at a good, fair, reasonable and understandable price.

Charges $195 to change oil in diesel. Quick google search will tell you that market price for independent shops like magic Mike’s is between $100-$150. Market price for a dealership is between $150-$200. Dealerships will take liability over improper work or damages, that’s why dealerships are more expensive. I promise Mike won’t. Ended up going to valvoline and got in changed for $166.40. Never had to leave my driver seat and it took 20 minutes. They also checked the air filter, fuel filter, battery and such. That’s even more service. $195 to drive over, then wait a few hours until I get it back, probably will not do a maintenance check. Man at desk told me he couldn’t get the oil as cheap as valvoline, can’t fool me, valvoline doesn’t drill for oil.

View on GoogleWe've used Magic Mike's multiple times (and they come highly recommended by my dad who was extraordinarily picky about his mechanics). I noticed my front brakes were squeaking, so I took my SUV to Mavis on Johnson Ferry. They said they would look at it and came back and said I needed new front and back brakes and rotors as well as new rear shocks. I was completely taken aback. My car has 33k miles on it, so needing new shocks seemed crazy. I told them I would be getting a second opinion, and I dropped my car at Magic Mike's. Joe from Magic Mike's called me about an hour later to let me know I needed new front brake pads and an alignment and that my back brakes and shocks were fine. I am so appreciative of their honesty. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs service done on their vehicle.
