I had a great experience with TRUE Automotive Decatur during my recent oil change. Mitch and the team were professional, welcoming, and took the time to make sure I felt comfortable and confident in the work being done. Mitch went over the details with me clearly and helped me better understand what was needed to support the overall health of my vehicle, even sent a follow-up after my appointment. I really appreciated their honesty, communication, and care throughout the process. I would definitely recommend TRUE Automotive Decatur to anyone looking for reliable service and a team that truly values its customers.

I ended up with a massive screw in a 6 month old tire. The tech, Ish, did an amazing job patching it. Seriously, it was like it was just bought off the rack. Rob, not just a pretty face, was incredibly helpful in figuring out the best way to fix the tire. He even carried the tire across the street where I was stuck parked. When you can get service with a genuine smile, it’s always worth showing genuine loyalty. Thanks True Decatur!!! Seriously saved my day AND my wallet lol

Probably the best physical experience I've had with an autoshop here in Atlanta. Really great people, really great quality service. However, the prices are honestly pretty steep. I truly go back and forth about "well I'm glad the shop has AC and everyone is happy" because it feels like the money goes to helping the quality of life of the employees which I really love. It was 440 dollars to diagnose 2 problems with my car. One was a smoke test bc my evap system was shot, and the other was an 02 sensor wiring issue, both of which are not 220 dollar jobs on their own but I needed someone I trust to diagnose and that was their cost for solely diagnostics, so I bit the bullet for now as I had already spent the time and money bringing my car to the shop in the first place. They gave me a chance to back out which I really appreciate but the price points just don't make sense to me in comparison to many other shops. I had a full diagnostic run at a shop in Marietta (that I trust, they are just busy and it's like an hour drive now) that ran me 100 dollars. I spent 440 at this shop for pretty much the same level of service. I understand labor has a cost, and if you have expendable income maybe I'd recommend here. Unfortunately I have to keep searching for another shop and I'm really disappointed with that reality. I had a battery go bad in January as well and brought it here and I was impressed with the lengths of troubleshooting and communication. However that battery replacement + labor was also 400 dollars. A battery replacement is like 150 if you buy a good battery and legit 10 minutes of labor. The 400 also covers the diagnostic and the work to troubleshoot, they really went out of their way to make sure I didn't have a parasitic power draw from a short or something in the car and kept the car overnight with them because my battery really truly just completely and mysteriously died one day. I can't justify the prices here, which sucks because I really like the people and service, but maybe you're paying for the quality? I'm not sure because they haven't actually had to prove themselves on a harder job for me yet, which also means I literally cannot afford to test it out because there is not a world a more labor intensive job wouldn't start at 1k at this shop. I'm a bit of a backyard mechanic myself so I understand that these price points are semi-foreign to me in the first place but comparing prices to other places I've been in the past for very similar issues and the math isn't mathing. It's sad that a price point is enough for me to write this review, but when you take your car to a shop you can't always just back right back out and find a new one. Sometimes you need to know before you get to the place what to expect, and that is why I feel the need to write this. Prices are egregious, but it's a great experience otherwise. If you're scared of mechanics, these guys will treat you right, at a cost.

I had a great experience at TRUE Automotive. I brought my 2012 Cadillac SRX in for an A/C issue, and they diagnosed it clearly and got the compressor replaced quickly. The whole process felt straightforward and professional, and the A/C is now blowing cold again. Nikolas was especially helpful — he was patient and worked with me to split the balance across multiple payment methods, which I really appreciated. Overall, the service was efficient, communication was clear, and I felt taken care of throughout the process. Would definitely recommend.
